I have had snowmobiles all my life and just purchased the 503 version last winter. This is an extreme sport and puts the thrill back into riding for me. To all you haters that are affraid to try one you can ride mine and I will attach another ski on the front so you have your training wheels still.
@Miktai4 жыл бұрын
I was riding sleds a few weeks back with my friends in lapland and my friends cousin had that same 800 snowhawk. It looked like so much fun!

this is just about the sweetest thing ever made!!! handles just like a bike
@ChargerHemi2914 жыл бұрын
Well dispite the overwelming majority, I think these things are so cool. I know a guy who has one of these and he loves it. He is an excellent rider and has owned mountain sleds since childhood. He said to me that it works better in the mountainsthen his Summit because of it's weight and double carbided wide front ski. As for the power, it has a H.O 800 wich had more juice then his 800 Summit X.He did say at first it was tricky to ride. Not to worry about the narrow track it works amazing.

It looks like a cross between a jetski, a moter bike and a snowmobile! the suspension looks pretty soft. sweet ride all in all.

This looks a hell of alot more fun than something with two skis.
@skeebert13 жыл бұрын
Cool idea.. For those who'd rather ride a dirt bike than a quad runner. I think I'd like this better than a regular sled personally, because I like to lean way into my turns and throttle out.. Sometimes that makes the sled want to roll, but if you could put that kind of a lean into a turn, your center of balance would be way easier to control. AWESOME IDEA FOR A SLED.
@torx8215 жыл бұрын
looks way more fun than a snowmobile. it is kind of like a dirt bike as opposed to a quad.

I got to ride the 600ho at the Espanola ski hill. Ian Hayden the snowcross racer had one out to play on. it was funn as heck. BMX track under 3 ft of snow we were nailing all the dirt jumps and it took some 15ft high airtime to flat landing and didn't break. makes me want a timbers sled kit so bad

@elkawasakicaliente no, but if you're on asphault you never just use the kick stand or it will sink into to on a hot day and lay your bike down, you put a flat piece of steel down and put the kickstand on that. Same thing for this probably only wider

looks pretty cool. almost seems like the center of gravity is pretty high. seems a little squirly and tippy in corners and rough terrain.
@Guyll2114 жыл бұрын

@vaughnoutdoor16 жыл бұрын
I am almost certain that these would blow pretty bad in powder. Here in the Rockies you gotta have 2 skis out front and the fattest track and longest paddles on your track to get the best performance.

wicked sick idea.. it must handle way different than a bike tho because the tires have a gyro effect? eitherway i want one. that's the one problem with sleds is that carving is a pain in the ass especially on throttle side.

@KriegerKrieg15 жыл бұрын
im not a sled head like most of you, but i am an avid skier and was wondering if this performes better in powder over a two skid sled, which has more surface area for the deap stuff. Just doesnt make sense to me cause with thin skies as in snow skiing you sink in powder and have poor manuverability.
@MrPenobe13 жыл бұрын
@hurilo if that's the case they make kits to add a ski to the front tire of a dirt bike and a track to the rear tire. Imagine its a lot cheaper.
@2point0L13 жыл бұрын
@moobear67 yeah they're just like a dirtbike on ice, no sliding lol
@firecatgreg16 жыл бұрын
These are geared toward being fun like a dirt bike for the snow. They aren't marketed as "trail" machines. Have one ski so they could be more dangerous for groomed trails. If one ski loses traction, no backkup, you might go sliding. I've seen one on the trails in Michigan. I watched "non pros" race them at a SnoX event and they looked lame, that's due to the riders. The danger: if your foot goes off any sled in deep snow or land in deep snow you could be in for a big problem/leg break.
@generatrix99914 жыл бұрын
Looks way more fun than a conventional sled. How would a racing version do in Snow Cross?

@bananasketch15 жыл бұрын
It is interesting that they seem to avoid the deep snow in the video, choosing to stay on the trail or in just a couple of inches of fresh snow. My guess is that they would sink and get stuck in deep powder due to lack of floatation of the short, narrow track. They look like great fun otherwise, especially if you are into bikes,
@iPr0d1gYz13 жыл бұрын
@AciDXRaiN27 i was thinking it was hold over, but idk. because i didnt know a 4wheeler could be high octane. lol
