Truss me I can’t handle a break down while I’m saving. I was going to get a fiat but then I was like I don’t really like the way it looks why should I settle fiesta look so juvenile I like corsa but I feel like a midget inside them

Where do you leave ? If in Europe than buying 207 is good choice for a first car , if you live in the us or canada I don't suggest buying it because it's hard to find parts with reasonable price and a mechanic who can do a good job fixing it.

I am driving 607 now but always dreaming of getting 207... I just love the car portability shape and everything.

The only French car that’ll ever do it for me, is probably a Clio II RS, but these Peugeot’s are definitely good for some nostalgia.

I have an Clio II Sedan, year 2009, Privilége version, engine 1.6 16v K4M Flex (ethanol and Gasoline). I like her too much

What is this high pitched noise when accelerating at higher speeds? I have a Peugeot 207 SW 1.4 95 Bhp from 2011 that makes a high pitched noise when accelerating between 110 and 120 kms/h. Anyone else had this problem?

I got a 207 three years ago. Unfortunately, the cars of peugeot are cut off the components in Chxxa. So it's not as good as in Europe. It's made me sad.

A Peugeot with a BMW / Mini engine (VTi engine). 😂 I had 1 Peugeot 207 SW 1.6 VTi 120 hp from 2008 to 2012. It was an excellent car.

This is my car, it’s sometimes maybe good sometimes maybe shit

My first car with exact same engine! :D Oil consumption? Yes. How much? Yes... I mean, like 1L per 5000km? :D (a part of it like 2000km was Autobahn and 150-160km/h). But still it was an amazing car. I made over 60000km in two years with this car (often driving between Germany and Poland) and I never had any problems . Only a heat-resistant plate under the gearbox fell almost off on the polish A1 highway :D But a friendly mechanic 50km later helped me to get it fixed on its place again :D And also I can recommend you to put a K&N air filter in it. Engine sounds way more aggressive haha :D

my Peugeot 207 spends 2l per 1000km, it is a printz engine, from BMW...12 years, no single major mailfunction fro 188,000km

@@orthodoxserb6596 my father has had a Peugeot RCZ with 1.6 L and 200HP. He also had to fill up oil every 5000km 😂😂 He sold this car after timing chain started to make noises... Thanks BMW. You even have to take your sicknesses with you to other car manufacturers.

It's a loud car! I mean when traveling on motorways, freeways, whatever your fast roads are. Not the engine the road noise. I don't like mine for that. I learnt in several very quiet cars. Something to consider if noise is a concern. Anything under 40mph in a city is fine in this car but over that and yeah, not fun.

How do you find this engine for power, is the 1.4 a 90bhp car or is it a 75bhp? I see mixed information online. I'm considering buying one, but will need to test it out

you should go with the newer 1.4 vti engine that was made in partnership with BMW, it has 95 hp. Or 1.6 VTI 120hp if u want something faster. I got the 1.4vti 95 on a 207 SW

@@robertt8171 I have that with BMW engine - currently spends 2l oil per 1000km...I bought it new 12 years ago. Passed 190,000km. No major mailfunctions so far, only lambda sonda after each 70,000km.

French cars tend to wear faster than japanese and german cars.

I've had the robotised 5 speed automatic gearbox and it consumed 5.5 - 7.0 liters in city (30 - 60km/h) and 4.5 - 6 liters on highway (70 - 100km/h)

What would you say about the driving position compared to Astra H and Megane 2? I would also be interested in how the handling is compared to those two. I had an Astra H and I don't know if I should just buy one again or go for this one. I really liked the Astra. Especially the power steering that was not too soft but not too hard.

My dad has one but 75hp 1.4, unbelievably slow, very unreliable but is ok in other things. If it wasn't breaking down a lot it'd be a good city car, but oh well

@@berotonin538 Mine 207 75 also works flawless, kept outside on snow and sun for 13 years. Driven 90% in city. Only thing it needed repair was a central lock and ofc regular maintenance, brakes, tyres etc.
