It's under the hood, passenger side. Take the cover under the windshield wipers and then the cover on passenger side and relays etc are there. Fuel pump is under back passenger side seat...
you are the best
Good work

Hey, did you get it running ?
Why are you not being patient when scanner is aligning CAS/EWS??? Even on the Autel, you're too quick to follow.....

The fault code 2F44 indicates that the Electronic Vehicle Immobilization System (EWS) is preventing the engine from starting, suspecting manipulation or tampering. To diagnose and resolve this issue, follow the steps below: Verify the battery condition: Ensure that the battery is fully charged and in good condition. A weak battery might not provide sufficient power for the EWS system to function correctly. Perform a load test if necessary. Check for additional fault codes: Use a diagnostic scanner to read any additional fault codes related to the engine control module (ECM), EWS module, or other systems. Record and address these codes as necessary. Verify key and EWS alignment: Ensure that you are using the correct key for the vehicle. The key should be properly programmed and synced to the EWS module. If you have a spare key, try starting the vehicle with it. Check the EWS module: Inspect the EWS module's wiring and connections for any signs of damage or corrosion. Ensure that the module is securely connected and receiving proper voltage. Test EWS to DME (ECM) communication: Verify that the EWS module is communicating with the engine control module (ECM). If communication is not occurring, diagnose the communication issue further, checking for wiring issues or a faulty EWS module or ECM. Check the starter signal: Verify that the starter is receiving a signal from the EWS module when the key is turned to the start position. If no signal is present, inspect the wiring between the EWS module and the starter. Inspect the ring antenna: Check the condition of the ring antenna around the ignition lock cylinder. Ensure that it is intact and connected properly. A faulty ring antenna can cause communication issues between the key and the EWS module. EWS module reset or reprogramming: If all the above checks are clear, the EWS module might need to be reset or reprogrammed. This step will require specialized equipment and software. Consult a qualified BMW technician or dealership for assistance. If the issue persists after completing these steps, it is recommended to consult with a qualified BMW technician or dealership for further diagnosis and repair.

@@BestCarFixes I am aware of the DME alignment procedure, I was referring to the "no comms" with the fuel pump control module.
