Thank you. Very useful video. In this particular demo it would be useful to have the actual sound of the clips popping out instead of the elevator music blaring any sound out. Thanks though the video was very useful and thumbs up.

Hi I have 2 questions. Does your fuel gauge move up and down? Especially during idle? Mine is a 2010 ascent hatch. Also what could be causing a rattle sound in my steering I hear it going over bumps and when moving the steering wheel left to right while driving. I took it to a mechanic it’s not mechanical. Sounds plastic ?

1. Why does my fuel gauge move up and down? The most common cause of erratic fuel level is caused by a defective fuel level sender in the fuel tank is defective or out of position or restricted from going all the way up to full position. 2. Why is my steering wheel making a rattling noise? The rattling noise means that something isn't right with the way your wheels are attached to the car. For example, a lug nut may have come loose and started rattling as the wheel turned around. Have your tires and wheels checked as soon as possible. 3. How to Fix a Stuck Fuel Gauge? A stuck fuel gauge on your vehicle can not only be annoying, but also require you to keep track of how many miles you've driven since your last fill-up to prevent you from running out of gas. A fuel gauge works through a series of electrical connections from the sending unit to the gauge cluster, and when one of these connections malfunctions, so does the fuel gauge. With a few basic tools and a lot of patience, you can troubleshoot the problem yourself and avoid a costly repair. Step 1 Turn the ignition on and off a few times, and watch the needle on the fuel gauge to see if it moves. If it doesn't, you most likely have a blown fuse that needs to be replaced. The fuse box will either be located under the driver's side dash or in the engine compartment, so consult your owners manual to pinpoint the location so you can replace the fuse. Step 2 Test the grounding wire on the fuel tank's sending unit, which is attached to your vehicle's fuel tank. To do so, attach the negative jumper cable to the car's frame, and the positive jumper cable to the grounding terminal of the sending unit. If the fuel gauge works when the jumper cables are connected, then the grounding wire on the sending unit needs to be replaced. Step 3 Disconnect the wiring attached to the fuel sending unit and then look at the fuel gauge. If the gauge is now giving you an empty reading, the fuel gauge is faulty and should be replaced. If the gauge gives you a full reading, the sending unit is faulty and should be replaced. Step 4 Verify that all of the wiring is securely connected to the back of the fuel gauge, which will require you to remove the dashboard to gain access to the instrument cluster. The process for doing this varies from vehicle to vehicle, so consult your owners manual. Check the grounding wire on the fuel gauge. To do so, connect the negative jumper cable to the vehicle's frame and the positive cable to the fuel gauge's grounding terminal. Turn the ignition to the on position and look at the fuel gauge. If the gauge is not working, then the grounding wire needs to be replaced.

Hi Thanks for all your useful videos. @5:28 do u know the part number for only the mirror? I have the same model corolla as u and only the mirror is damaged, but the casing looks ok.

The cover is easy to remove just with a credit card. You dont have to take that much care like in this video.
