I sure do appreciate you Georgia boys being thorough at explaining this procedure, because most people shortcut a lot of shit and when they actually try to change the assembly, they run into small issues, like the clips on the upper bumper trim! They'll take the bolts out, and think they misses a few because it's not just coming right out! Just the calm, thorough way you explained it was spot on!

If i did want to remove the grill completely, is it just those top bolts holding it in?

I’changed mine but the orange light n the bottom don’t work the top does the bottom doesn’t the signal work though emergency’s work but as it being just on like the others it isn’t 😢😢😢😢 please help

Hey man , I replaced mine today but they will not turn on, if I take my lights off auto and switch them to my low beams with the knob they’ll work .. but only then .. but as far as just them turning on when I turn the truck on NO & they also won’t come on when I unlock the truck or turn my brights on from the inside … any suggestions???

Could be a fuse but sounds kinda like a headlight switch problem if it won’t work on auto. Easiest thing to check is the fuse to see if it burned out or broke

The silicon on the old light was probably to keep moisture out. Did yours end up getting water in them or fogging in the rain at all?

No, no moisture or water in them what so ever

How long did the lights last ? Did they fog up or did water come in side them ?

I’ve owned the truck since March of 2021 and the hi beam halogen bulbs went out a couple weeks before this video. No water or condensation got into the Lense that I know of. I also don’t know if the bulbs were ever replaced before this video. From my experience with the stock bulbs on these Sierras from this body style they go out pretty regularly. Since I’ve put the LED bulbs in they have worked fantastic over a year with them. I hope that answers your question.

These are actually just black housings which are just the insides behind the bulbs the actual lenses are clear
