Awesome demonstration and explanation. I plan to replace my car's radiator reason being I watched this video. I was on the N -101 freeway when another driver hollered and pointed towards the back of my car. I saw white fumes coming from the back of my car through the rear view mirror. I took the nearest exit. I pulled over and parked the car. By then, white steam was coming out from the hood. I lifted the hood. The radiator was piping hot and fluid was leaking, coming from the left side of the radiator. I waited for the engine to cool down. Then, I poured coolant. Started the car, waited a bit, but more of the white steam was coming out from under the hood. I had to call a tow truck to bring my car all the way to my garage at home. I'm assuming it's going to cost me an arm and a leg. So, I'm willing to fix the radiator myself. Crossing my fingers that I do fix the radiator leak. Otherwise, I'd have to take public transportation for the meantime. I welcome suggestions and advice from you @BrianBalatbat.

Had the EXACT same issues over the last FOUR MONTHS. I have kept up on my coolant levels and dude, this engine is INSANELY resilient. Doing the math from how quick I leak to empty, I went AT LEAST 2 months with ZERO coolant in the reservoir before I noticed it being empty, no issues. My radiator is leaking out of the right and left rides out the top now, I'm doing the replacement tomorrow. Dealership wanted 460 for the part, 400 for labor. Bought a nice radiator for 190 and probably gonna get it done by noon 🤣 Toyotas never cease to amaze me with the resilience.

1A Auto was taking the Front bumper off and literally the entire Front end off when they were replacing the radiator. My Front bumper comes off without all those bolts underneath and at the top. It's held up by 2 zip ties, until I purchase a push button quick release. I would still take the Front bumper off for a better view and clearance, since my bumper comes off in 5 seconds.

I watched your video and followed your. But when I tried filling the radiator, coolant won't go in, bubbles up and act like it filled up. Upper hose is hot and bottom hose is cold. What should I do? Car is a 2010 Toyota camry

Sounds like you still have air in the system, give it some gas for a good min straight around 2500 rpm until it sucks all the fluid back in. Then top it off. Once you feel heat coming out of the vents then that means coolant is circulating.
