So how did your project turn out I'm about to start on my 2002 Buick Joseph Abboud Edition . I've been doing my research online and it seems like most GM vehicles are pretty similar

Wow dude my son stuck open had to plexiglass the top searching and searching for a video on how to get the sunroof off and the headline or anything and I just came across your video awesome

Thanks for your video I have a 2010 Chevy avalanche and I’m planning on pulling the headliner and pillars to do vinyl and fabric spray paint….idk why Gm didn’t make the whole interior 1 color it’s a** backwards to have a light headliner and dark bottom trim for our trucks…. Hopefully pulling the sunroof cover isn’t a task because I saw in your video the rear of it has a upward hook

Yeah you helped me. I got some interior I'm changing the color of in my suv and I needed to know how to approach removing certain parts w/o damaging them. Nice looking out...

My sunshade came off from the rail the last 6 inches. Is there a way to put it back in without taking it down or removing the glass ?

@@DMAXROB all good man ! When I fix my roof I am also going to install fibre optic star lights since the headliner will already be off! Im excited !

Underneath the motor do you have to remove the plastic cover to manually use that Allen wrench to get to move? My got stock open. Im trying to close it. Water got in at first was leaking through the sunroof switch and when I start the vehicle sunroof open by itself I was able to close it one time the next time didn’t work anymore.

my sunroof is broken so badly i dont know how the parts go together, or if i even have all the parts

How did you get sliders out front with the little stops

How did your wire it up?

When I took my sunroof down, mine actually has belts with teeth. So instead of cables. Was yours like this? and do they just send cables now? Also, could you tell me the link for Amazon? For the part? Thank you.

What was wrong with yours? Mine is partially open. It won’t tilt. It tries to slide but can’t cuz it won’t tilt. Was told that the lift mechanism is broke

Anyone know if a 07-13 Suburban Tahoe/Yukon sunroof will fit in a 07-13 Silverado/Sierra?

Did you have to drill the small rivets out by the wind dampening flap?

About to my 2013. I bought the kit with the slides off Amazon. Wondering if I should replace the motor while I’m in there? Works good still. Anyone have any issues with their motor going bad??

No you can take it out the back end by the motor. Drill those three rivets out.

@@DMAXROB how did you remove the slide arms out of the sunroof rack? Working on a Tahoe. I don’t want to remove the whole frame, just pull the pieces out of the front. Possible? Thanks

@@lessworkshop1554 I think you need to take the whole frame out because you have to drill out the old rivets to get the old assembly out the the front of the frame, it can’t be don’t in the truck

@@DMAXROB did you take off the motor bracket to pull the drip Pan bracket out? Both plastic pieces in front and back of the slide broke. I can slide the front out the front but not the back.
