NOTE: Battery positive Terminal was removed prior to any work being done on the Airbag!!! Allen Key was a 3mm.
My Steering Column immobilizer has gotten tired and sticks when it gets too hot and humid!
I found a replacement on eBay and there are a ton of good videos out there about replacing the Upper column. This video is about how to remove the Airbag and the controls from a L322. Mine is a 2006. I think this applies from 2002 all the way to 2012. This was about the hardest part of the swap. Hopefully the close up will give you a better understanding of what is behind that hole.
