2006 Hummer H1 Alpha Passenger Wagon Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Tour

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2006 Hummer H1 Alpha Passenger Wagon. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this suv while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this suv designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

+AmtrakSuperFan 393 well I got mine at a great price, and it was also a boarder patrol vehicle. It as an 03 and I believe I payed about 34k with 71k miles, chances are u won't find one in even similar condition, for under 45-50k and alpha's like this one go for over 100k. And my h2 was bought from a repo lot with 71k miles and fully loaded, with a clean title and great condition for $8500, that car was a steal.

And you can run a Diesel off a crapton of different things (Veggie Oil, etc)

You know the H1 was originally designed for the US Military right? While it's interior might seem illogical to us civilians to the Military guys this served it's purpose well, I'm pretty sure that big gap might have served as a mounting point for .50 cals.

I'm a guy that despises the H2 because I think it is extremely impractical. All it is is a Chevy Tahoe/Silverado or GMC Yukon/Sierra Cadillac Escalade/Escalade EXT with a different body kit. All those vehicles have the exact same chassis and for that reason it is very impractical. All they did was add an extremely heavy body to a mediocre chassis and call it a hummer. While I think the looks are brilliant, it is another example of why GM went out of business. The thing is rubbish. I would change my mind if it was actually good off-road but it is not. The range rovers and Porsche cayennes can get to places the H2 looks at and becomes afraid of. Not to mention the H2 averages 11 MPG. It probably realistically gets 8. That said, the H1 Alpha is a totally different story. It is actually a practical off-road vehicle. It can go damn near anywhere. It looks awesome. The interior is still GM-tacky and I was surprised at the lack of legroom in the rear seats considering the vehicle is so large. I would have thought the rear leg room would be akin to a Mercedes-Benz S-550 or something similar like a BMW 750. Anyway, there is no reason to hate on this car like there is the H2. This Hummer is not an imposter and will deliver the goods. All you people hating on here truly don't know what your talking about and the whole small penis thing makes absolutely no sense. I would love to hear you explain why that is true. The only plausible way is that you stand waiting for the owner to return to each large SUV you see and ask him to drop his drawers for you to do research and that is really homo-sexual; you should stop doing that and get back into your Prius and drive away. This is an exotic vehicle and will probably be a hell of a collector car. Sure the Range Rovers are nice but everyone has one. And don't act like they are great on fuel either. Plus, the Duramax Diesel is kickass. Extremely reliable and full of torque. I'm sure both are about equal off-road wise but going through water I would rather the hummer. The only large SUV I would rather have than this would be the Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG if they make it and if not the G63 and of course that would be the 6X6 model. Haha. I would take the 4X4 as well but the 6X6 is pretty astonishing even though it costs half a mil. In summary, stop being a hater. It's ok to say you don't much care for it and give a reasonable explanation but don't say shit like "Your a fag with a small penis if you buy this." That's just stupid speech. It's amazing how so much hateful banter is created by a cool video of an automobile. Get over yourselves and enjoy the video and live and let live. Just because you are unhappy with your Geo Metro or whatever piece of junk you might drive doesn't mean you have to hate someone else for liking this hardcore vehicle. Tootles.

Ian Starkey I actually read all this lol. And Yea I agree H2 hummer is a piece of shit and I loled at all the fail-rappers and fail-reality stars that bought the H2 in 2003 and 2004 because the H2 was the "Greatest SUV" at the time. I always liked the hummers but thought the H2's, even when they looked nice, they were way too overrated so once business boomed in 2005, I bought myself a 2003 Mercedes G500 over the H2 Hummer. In 2005, the G-Wagon was EXTREMELY underrated and if you think everyone wows at G-Wagons now, you should see the reactions it was getting in 2005. Not to mention, I only saw 1 or 2 other G-Wagons on the road the entire month at the time because from 2002-2006 they were extremely limited in production and the prices never fell (and still dont) unlike the Hummer H2's did. Now a days, G Wagons are cheaper to lease than S550's and everyone leases them they were nothing like they were 10 years ago :/ I still have the 2003 with 113k miles on it and It's still running like a champ and I dont regret it at all (I might get another one though lol). Anyways, the H1 Hummer is WAY better than the H2 and that too is a car that maintains its value because in 2006 the H1 MSRP was 150k and now in 2015 the price is 130-140k LMAOOO.

At 3:08 the vehicle shows a webbing of steel that could make 4 wheeling on rocks difficult. The under guard should be flat ,so it can slide with no friction. Aluminum wheels will be better for the road. 4:41 if you fix the rust on your muffler now it wont give you problems later. Shouldn't have rust on the muffler after only 10,000 miles. Unless perhaps you did a lot of off roading??? 4:53 I would position both tow hooks the same.At 5:21 there is a little bit of rust on the frame, Fix it now ?

Armor it to the max, tint it limo style, reinforce the chassis, put side and rear "push" bars and arrange the rear like a cosy living room- you're ready to go. Gotta love it.

Its amazing how similiar it is to hour Humvees. I wish ours were this nice. If youre also in the military, you know that riding in a humvee is probably the most uncomfortable experience.

Man, man, what I'm glad I only had to see two of your youtube clips. I hope you are not taking yourself too serious. These cars are made for driving, not for talking about adjustable armrest. But clearly there seems to be a market for this clips, given your likes. But I'm not the target audience.
