Did it come with that throttle lock (3:56) or was that an add on? Oh you don't know...never mind. Range to empty and an actual fuel gauge is nice! Cool bike VRODs great second bike There are companies that make a 5 gallon tank but they are hard to find The 2007 model got the 5gal tank and 240 tire But they are about 37 pounds heavier The other thing thing people didn’t like it’s need it’s valves adjusted 😆 Not a big deal it’s every 12k miles and they use shims like sport bikes. The 1130cc is a good motor just take care of it. The VROD went to 1247cc in 2008 The one I liked was the Street Rod it has adjustable suspension and mid controls But the dealerships always wanted a lot for them, big twin money.

I also got NR last year, I have little bit of crotch rocket experience, by now you've figured out to get them RPMs up......4000 rpm its got power but nothing like 7000 It is much easier to get my butt off the seat and over the side than it is on my crotch rocket. Mine has 5gal tank, and if you keep it 4k and below you might get 40mpg, I'm not extremely fast rider but I love passing everybody in 2nd gear and that sucks down gas..... typically I get 37 casual riding....750crotch rocket I get 40 casual riding I got the NR because the long drawn out Sportster S just made me lose interest I took the NR on test ride.......went back to do it again......tested over an hr to check comfort on my shoulder and ribs....
