Today I had the pleasure of meeting both Mayan and his father in person as they took the time to really go through and show me around there nice inventory . Just found your channel, new sub. I like this coach, like you said it's been well maintained and 90k miles is nothing on these diesel. I like that you demonstrated the Hydraulic leveling system and I appreciate the test drive. Good work on showing this American Eagle coach.

Next to a Prevost coach, American Eagle would be my #2 go to coach to buy especially with the CAT engine, there are a lot of CAT engine service dealers across North America. For the price this is a beautiful well cared for coach. This would be a great entry starter coach for someone just starting out RVing and it's a decent price you don't want to spend a half million dollars on a coach and then find out in a few months that the RV lifestyle isn't for you, you won't lose much money reselling this coach if that were to be the case. The only thing that I would change in this coach is to install a separate washer and dryer, those combo washer/dryers are basically junk and you really can't wash and dry a lot of clothes at the same time.

Crazy Canuck CAT engines are notoriously expensive to maintain unless you have the skill to do it yourself. The American Eagle is a top notch coach, I’m just a fan of Cummins power plants.. IMHO. 🤠

Agree. My dad owned 3 Eagles. The last one was an 03. They were all excellent units. I would compare them with the upper end Newmars. Those combo washer/dryers are a space saver only. Poor substitute for a stacked washer dryer combo. It would take a long time to wash and dry clothes in my dad's. We purchased an 06 450 Lxi Wanderlodge in lieu of an Eagle. We are happy thus far.

@@Melidontcare Oh ya for sure, Cummings are definitely also a good HP engine the reason I like the older Cat engines is the durability of them although a bit more expensive on the repair side once there up and running they are a very dependable million mile or more engine. Most new diesel pushers today are mainly built with the Detroit 60 series and Cummings engines which are both excellent engines with a few Volvo diesels somewhere in some of these new coaches.

pro tip with induction stove is to use cast iron otherwise the pots make a weird whistling noise. Cast iron is heavy so it connects better

That flooring looks like you had material from another repair which you only fixed half the floor. Looks like crap! !! How bad was the floor that it had to be repaired and why did it go bad? ??

@@justme5694 It is a Liberty chassis built by American. The chassis has a Spartan front and rear with American attaching their Liberty frame to the Spartan front and rear. It is a great riding chassis with a side radiator for easier servicing and an IFS with 55 degree wheel cut. They ride very smooth. My father had 3 Eagles and they were all great coaches. IMHO one of the top coaches built.

No need to show if: sold or not for sale or 1 yr old. Please stop this behavior.
