200,000 isnt much for a reasonable well maintained toyota. Talk about 400,000+ and then we are talking.

So no one is going to mention the coolant gauge on H? Was it overheating or what

Looks like a bad thermostat at 2:43. Either that or the van's overheating

Great review! I own couple of vehicules, and one of them is a 2005 fwd Sienna, base model (CE). I bought it new in march 2005, and I still own it. It has 290000km (180000 miles), and it's running strong. Can surely double that milage easily. Only good things to say about it. I live in Canada (Montreal) and this vehicule is VERY reliable. Day after day, snow, freezing rain, hot summer, name it, the Sienna NEVER failed. Never. I bought a vehicule, and I received a Tank. And yes like you said this vehicule has a lot of memories, and thanks to you to raise that about high milage cars. New subscriber now :)

I believe it was in this body style that Toyota switched to the 3.5 V6. Around 2006-2007. Don't know why anyone would need 268HP (in 2007) or 296HP (in 2020), but the 3.5 exists for that. At least this second gen is a huge improvement over the first. Fact: this sienna has only 15hp less than the 2021 sienna hybrid. Edit: I forgot to add, this is a very popular car in most parts of Africa, especially for road trips and family cars. It's even more popular than the Odyssey.

What a kick ass interview I got a 2005 in 2007 and still have it in 2021. 3 kids 4 dogs and 2 hamsters rode back and forth and international. Towed job trailers & many boats. It's at 150k now and just keeps going. Ol' Faithful! And yes they all smell the same. My 2000 4Runner has the same smell.

I agree. I wonder why people go for SUVs (except off road driving, which most people will never do throughout their lives) over minivans. If you want a comparably practical SUV, you'll end up getting a Surburban or an Expedition Max for almost twice the price. And good luck trying to park those in your garage or on a busy street. Midsized SUVs are about the same size as minivans, but most of them will never be able to seat 7 or 8 comfortably with their stuff like a minivan does. It's great to see that a few brands are still committed to minivans while all the others have given up on the segment altogether.

I'm surprised a 2005 came with a cassette player. I thought they were out by the late 1990s. Even my mother's 2003 Corolla came with an in-dash CD player, but it might have been part of an option package.
