Why split on the low side, especially when (assuming) bobtailing? I never split low, even loaded to 80,000 unless there was a hill, etc. that I had to start from. 379X St. Louis, MO to Seattle, WA every week with 2 extra stops outbound every week (approx. 4200 miles).

michael lake I do agree, the one truck I drove that had an 18 spd, I usually just split high side like a 13. Maybe split last gear on low side loaded but that’s it

That dash is pretty clean.
