This set shows what I like about old Thomas toys. They're not flashy and don't rely on over-the-top gimmicks. They're just nice, simple train sets. Excellent video.

Simple train sets are a hard find with thomas toys now. As someone who's shifting focus to trackmaster 2 collecting, I'm super picky about which ones I buy. Oddly enough, most of my track is AEG just because they've got more, normal train sets, oddly? It's funny how the more realistic Thomas series had roller coasters, and AEG has more normal train sets. Funny how that works.

Definitely has the early 2000’s vibe. What a day it was to live through these amazing releases. Excellent review!

HELL YEAH. i love wooden railway thomas toys especially the older sets. the lets have a race song fits so well with this video!!

Like most other Thomas Wooden Railway items, this set was released when Learning Curve was really pushing the roadway system and they bit off more than they can chew

These were the good old days, when Thomas had both high-quality episodes and high-quality merchandise lines. This set came out during Thomas Wooden Railway's Silver age, when the engines were redesigned, traction rail replaced Clickety-Clack Track to enhance the performance of battery-operated engines, and roadway track was introduced for road vehicles like Bertie and Trevor. If I were in charge of Thomas Wooden Railway, I'd bring Roadway Track back. It's sad that Mattel is trying to send Thomas to the scrapyard nowadays. He deserves to be owned a company that'll treat him with respect, like Orbrium.

i dont have the arch viaduct or the stone tunnel. i got about 2 of the rail road crossings. the only windmill i have is toby’s windmill set. i never had this set growing up. nice to see a review
