2004 Tahoe quad headlight mod (low beams stay on with high beams)

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I've shown variations of this mod on my other chevy trucks and this time the Tahoe is getting yet another variation. In this case, the input to the bcm is getting fooled into thinking that the stalk is getting pulled back, even when it is pushed forward.
I don't take any credit for inventing this mod. The earliest time that I have seen it mentioned was in an article by member "prosphoto" from a trailblazer website that once was great but now is not so great. In his version, the circuits are flipped so that the stalk works opposite of what it was intended for. If someone came up with it before hand, I'm sorry!
Also, just like many things in life, there is more then one way to get the same result, and no way is better then another. I am well aware of the fuse box shove-a-diode mod, and if that worked for you and it only took you 5 minutes, cool! It's just not for me. No hard feelings.
Coming up, I'm wiring this thing for HID lows and fogs with auto-fogs. It's not going to be a "how-to" but more of a behind the scenes look at the process of building a harness and making lights do things that they weren't intended to do.
