My favorite mustangs generation 1999- 2004. For some reason the model looks so futurestic. I remember wanting that in high school and 10 years later I own one.

Scottie , once I raced a saleen on the highway(i-10) with my 07 1000cc Kawasaki Ninja , of course I got him. When I hit 170mph , I decided to slow down and look back how far he is behind, so I turned my head and he was right there behind my tail. Thats one fast car! I sure was surprised.

My cousin once had a black Saleen just like this in NE Texas. I remember it being one of the coolest cars i had ever seen. I like the interaction between these guys. Both seem like good dudes

A deal for me fell through on a cobra with an auto swap a few months ago, dealer stopped replying and come to find out they ended up selling it the weekend i was going down there

My all time favorite mustang. Those tinted tail and turn signal lights are bad ass. Love the middle outlet exhaust on those

finally....someone closes the hood carefully (i do the same). i see so many people who just drop it like 2 feet up. always makes me go "ow!" inside lol

True the Saleen hoods are very light unlike grandpas Fairmont station wagon. But the upside to the drop close method is it closes evenly and doesn’t bend

Yeah if you ever tried to close the hood on a new edge mustang you would understand why we have to drop them from 2 feet up....

It's hard to get rid of a Saleen. Dealers don't give you much. I was offered only 4k for my 99 Saleen at the dealer. I laughed at that offer and left.

hey all, I am the prior owner of this Saleen,YES A REAL SALEEN. I loved the car, it was absolutely awesome but I let my wants get ahead of my health. The car was not at fault, I was. I ended up selling to a dealer in IL., and bought a Trilogy Marauder #95, it is a little more practical for me. Thank's again to scottiedtv, he is a real nice guy.

Never been into mustangs, grew up in a Firebird family, but the one of two mustangs I said i don’t care I want it at some point in my life is this style year Saleen or the Cobra. The Saleen My lord it is a beautiful machine something about it seen it pass by on the street behind my school fence in the 4th grade I’ll never forget it in Sonic Blue. ❤️

Look into a terminator if you like new edges. They have performance that can rival the modern cars with relatively simple mods and they sound ungodly. They're about as quick as most 5.0s stock vs stock and have just as much potential when modded. They're not cheap so if you can't afford that look into getting a gt and possibly swapping a coyote into it which would also be a sick ride.

Car is perfect! Guy seemed a little hostile at first but he seemed to lighten up. Great video as well.

because most saleen's week souped up GT of that era...they did make very few saleen cobras in 03-04 super rare look it up. they had terminator driveline and interior saleen exterior brakes and suspension

Amazing car, I have a 2000 V6 love the car Saleen made it even better, only thing Ive never been a fan of is the Saleen spoiler, just never digged it.

That Car is on E-Bay right now For Sale from a Dealer in IL..I was looking at Mustangs for sale,and found it,And seeing the 357 Number on it,I remembered this Vid of the Black 04 Extreme that also had 357 on it.Man I'm so tempted to get it.It's a FANTASTIC Looking Saleen,and the Extreme is what I want,they Build up the Engines in these with all Beefed up Parts so it's a BEAST! I just wonder why the Guy Traded it off so quick,that's the only thing that has me a little hesitant...

I'm sure he will...he has only had it 3 weeks...

That car came from Knoxville TN! 100% I drove it! That was the original dealer.
