They are nowhere close to rare. They r a holden not a good and looks like a grand am...my cousin got a silver newer gto and had gto tattooed to his forearm and its so cringe I wished they'd disappear. Nobody likes these but the people who own them. Even to me the grand prix v8 front wheel drive has more character then this turd

@@w.e.s. Prices on them say otherwise. just because your not a fan of them, they came with 350-400 hp and rwd sounds pretty badass to me.

So funny to hear all the hate in here. These are still “relatively” affordable for low mileage cars. Clearly they have a following and no matter what the haters say, they will go up with time.

The original equipment BF bullshit tires were the Achilles heel of the performance stats on this car. You put some summer sports on there and you are shaving numbers all around.

Took Aussies to show America how to build a quality performance car and fit it with quality interior materials. Americans were building ugly outdated RUBBISH especially at this time.

Holden built many great cars but the quality of the paint and other features seemed to degrade fast. Not something that should happen with cars that have been in production for years. Killer cars with Chevy LS power but many flawed production qualities. Who wants their paint clear coat peeling and electronic issues a few years after buying a new vehicle? I love the designs but I think Holden got lazy and that is why GM closed the plant

@@JB54379 millions of cars all over the world have clear coat peel including overrated shit heaps like Mercedes BMWs ect. It’s all about maintenance of the paint and some people are just lazy slobs who can’t be bothered polishing a car and then whinge when the paint deteriorates. And what deterioration otherwise are you talking about. I’ve got a 5 liter 308 cubic inch 1984 VK holden Calais in my collection and EVERYTHING works. The paint is 40 years old and is showing SOME signs of age but it still looks amazing. Holden built world class cars ESPECIALLY from the 2000s onwards. It’s just a pity that the majority of owners treated them like world class fools.

@@ToranaA9X308 I agree but disagree. I have kept my 2004 GTO waxed and super cared for. Probably more than needed. Washed and waxed weekly, if not, biweekly. The clearcoat is still peeling. It is a shit paint job no matter what you think personally. I'm sure your cars are in a garage and super protected. I do not have that option so my car is outside. Quit talking your garage kept BS! Clearcoat peeling is not something I have ever had on any of my other cars I have owned a long time?
