Hello and welcome back to another video on Sam's Diecast Showroom! You're in for unboxings, reviews, collecting and racing of diecast cars! Today we are doing a single unboxing, which makes for a quick and thorough video of one specific diecast model.
Today we have a cool 2023 Matchbox! It's the black 2004 Mazda RX-8! The toy number is HKW44 and it's made in Thailand. It's 49/100 for 2023 and from the MBX Showroom segment.

Lol.. After owning RX7's and 8's over the past 25 years. I laugh when I hear another person puke out the same "unreliable, probably shouldn't buy one" comments. Fun fact. The best handling car ever produced by Mazda. If you can twist a wrench. You can own a RX8. My son also drives one daily. Still turns heads wherever he goes. Super reliable if you stay on top of it. Rear wheel drive. Limited slip diff, 6 speed trans, multi link rear and double front A-arm suspension, 9k redline and the sweet sound of the 13b. Braaaap! With a 3inch Borla exhaust. ;). Cool video! I just ordered 3 of these puppies.

Thanks for watching man! I didn't mean to stereotype every rx8 I've heard some bad things about the reliability but I have also seen some with higher miles

@@samsdiecastshowroom6183 The 8 in my garage has 260K kms on original motor. Runs like new! 160k miles. It's been abused and still loves it! People just let them run out of oil. Built to burn motor oil. About a 1/2 quart every 2 weeks. Gotta premix 2 stroke in the fuel!. Fuel economy is about dead even to a C8 Corvette. lol They tend to flood a lot. If the ignition is weak. Thats what happens to 80% of them. People think they're broken but... Usually just needs new plugs,wires,coils. Fresh battery. You have a good running 8.
