I just discovered an awsome hack to simplify gettin the bearing free from the knuckle at 11:00 in the video. Attach the hub puller used at 7:10 to the bearing. I could only get two of the bolts, removed at 9:30, to fit, but that was sufficient to help move things in the right direction. I had to use a pry bar to help things along, but the bearing came out much easier than in this and other videos. Hope this helps someone out there!

Thanks for making this video helped out a lot.. Im in Canada and could not rent that hub press tool. So I tried hammering it in with the bearing race tool and ended up popping out the bearing on the back side opps.

If you can't rent this tool, you can make one with 3/4 or 5/8 threaded rod, washers, nuts and 3/4 sockets or pop out the race on that back side of the old bearing and use that.

Anyone know if it's much different on the EX model? I mean is it just a matter of displacing the axle out the back of the hub?

Yes it is the same you can unbolt the top of the knuckle at the upper control arm and tilt to remove the cv. I am doing it on an awd this weekend.

is this the EX all wheel drive model?

No but it is almost the same. You just have to disconnect the knuckle on the upper control trol arm and tilt it forward to remove the axle and rest it on the shock.
