Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
In this video I show you how I rebuilt the entire front suspension on my 2004 Chevy Failblazer (aka Silvester) using TrueDrive suspension parts from @CarPartscomOfficial . I replaced upper and lower control arms, lower control arm bushings, upper ball joints, struts, tie rod end links, sway bar end links and rear shocks.
Here are the parts used for this repair:

Dan it’s a fail blazer. Of course they don’t give you room to work. We can take a 2 minutes of silence for Chevy. And say. Good job for making my repairs harder then they have to be

Still love the hell out of the trailblazers but after owning a mini i thought chevys we’re supposed to be easier to work on🤣
I have an 02 trailblazer. I did the upper c arms, ball joints, struts, and added a 2" leveling kit. I picked up a ball joint press kit and the extra accessories kit from harbor freight. Getting the lower strut bracket off the old ones drove me insane lol. Imalso cheated in the upper c arms, I used a small body saw and notched near the bolts so I could use a ratcheting wrench. Awesome video for anyone who needs to do this themselves.
I have found that a blood offering is essential to the successful completion of any automotive project I've undertaken. At least my cars seem to think so. Thanks for this video. I have a Trailblazer that needs some of the same type of work you just did.

Thank you for the video upload. This is the most realistic video I've found for a layman like myself to do the front end swap. All of the other videos that I've found have the mechanic doing the work while under a lift. I''ll be doing this with jack stands and a jack. This is what the repair looks like for someone without an expensive lift.
Great video! All the torques displayed are a great help.
One of the better videos I've ever seen on here for sure. Great job.

Great job thanks for putting the torque specs.
Bustin’ pinkies and eatin’ twinkies. Looks like a big job but I’m sure the results were well worth the effort. DIY dude saving money for the win. Nice work bro

Hello The Daninator, Loved your video! I am in the process of doing the same on my GMT-360 Saab 9-7x. Enjoyed the detail and tips. Q: why not replace the axles seals when this far in? I ordered b/c every GMT-360 I have owned/viewed seep. Not a huge deal if you change and monitor fluid....just thought "while I'm in there". I am slow have little time so I will not finish my project until near the end of April. Cheers and keep posting
Great video!! Before I even order parts I put a new box of band-aid's in the top of the tool box... 🤕 ✌
What’s up dude, great video man in fact it made subscribe! I am saving up to buy my first air compressor to repair my tbss.. now idk Jack shit about air compressors, so what would be a great affordable decent air compressor to get the job done?
Man you make me look silly with your torque specs lol I use the POWER of the impact to make sure it’s tight😂😂

Great video, thank you. So, how does the Trailblazer drive after all the work?
Thanks for your great super helpful videos. Question. Why use anti-seize on suspension bolts. Don't you want to use Loctite? Thanks.
Thank youuuu
Awesome video. I have an 05 Trailblazer pushing 200k and going strong (knock on wood). How the parts holding up? Looking to knock this out as the temps drop.
Loved the ball joint burp 😂
Great video! I just wish you would list in the beginning of the video all the wrenches and wrench sizes needed for the job? Also did that kit come with new upper control arm bolts or did you have to use this old ones?

I need to do the exact same thing to mine with the exception of upper control arm and rear shocks. I have all the parts, just waiting on a weekend without rain to do it. I'm not looking forward to the back pain afterwards.

I once installed air suspension on a BMW on jackstands in literal rocks. Thr back pains were reallll. Im having PTSD as i’m about to redo my 99 1500 front end and reading your comments.
You have an ugaduga gun, why didn't you ugaduga the balljoints in and out instead of manual power?
Not trying to sound dumb or anything but how would you find the ride height I need to do mine too but don’t want to screw up
@14:13 meee meee meee mee BURP !!!! hahahaha PRICELESS !!!
I'm going to be doing my lower control arm bracket on my 03 trailblazer, are you suppose to mark where the old bracket was so you can get the new one in the right spot?
@LaPurr
2 жыл бұрын
You can, but it doesn't help. There's 3 angles on the lower control arm mount, and it will need to be aligned.
Whats that lower bar that connect to that rubber boot thing
Hey Dani, you show the torque to tight the bolts, but what tool do you use ? you only show the air tool, does that gives you the right torque or you end up with torque driver ?
How are the truedrive struts working for you? I need to get some for my grand caravan and was considering these.

You have done this incorrectly you should have loaded the lower control arm with the weight of the vehicle before tightening the control arm
