2003 Suzuki LTZ400 Build Part 1
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This is more of the mechanical side so i can get it to rideable position. Ill include some links to the parts i purchased in this video. As of this point I'm $2196 into this machine with the cost of the ATV, the parts and fuel costs picking it up. IT would have been much more if I didn't have parts for this machine. Thanks for watching!
The front Tires Were $94 - ebay.us/bLCbu2
The Seat Cover Was $70 Plus Shipping although I would have gone with Thrillseekers if I knew they made covers for these - amzn.to/3sZB0QP
The Grab Bar from ATVDAVE on Ebay $120 W Shipping - ebay.us/Ri6CvU
The rest of the parts were either purchased used or from RockymountainATVMC.com

Thank you!
I traded for a 2003 Suzuki ltz400 with a big bore kit bored to a 440,aftermarket suspension, hot rods crank and piston, things a monster. Mine is white also and has the boring aluminum nerf bars think I’ll just paint them black and I have some basic stuff ordered like rear brakes, good luck with the build I hope it turns out awesome!!

Thanks! The drw one is better and I think only $50, you can search for it as a dvx400 or kfx400 and possibly find a better deal. I’m waiting on warmer weather as well to shoot some more riding content.
Where is the best place to get parts for 2004 Kawasaki KFX 400

Ebay is the best bet, not a lot of places are selling it anymore. If you search for LTZ400 you can usually find more available.
Loved the video I’ve been wanting to build my 400ex for a while and just now getting some of the parts for it and this video is just getting me more excited lol. Keep up the good work

Facebook marketplace always has a few good finds. If you near Oklahoma City I’m pretty sure rush powersports has a set.
If you don't mind me asking, what did you give for the project bike? What did your parts bike cost you? I just picked up a 2004 for my wife and an anniversary gift and she and I are doing to build it up together. We have a fleet of honda atc/trx250r's but she doesn't have enough lead in her pockets to always be kick starting in the dunes so she is going to get a luxury ride now.

I’m about 3k deep into it now. I bought the original project for $1000, I bought a bunch of machines for parts and sold a lot from them that turned a profit so I didn’t count them. This one has a ton more issues than I anticipated. The build part 2 is on hold right now while I wait for a gasket.

@@TheATVHustle nice work man! My clutch will be here today and I've already got all the fluids and filters so I'll soak the clutch tonight and should have the one I picked up 3 days ago ready for the weekend.

I do, this is from a KFX400 but is the same as the LTZ. This axle was pulled from a machine with not a whole lot of hours. www.ebay.com/itm/185657718643

I do, be sure to check if yours still has the 03-style carrier. My LTZ is an 03 but i have the 05+ style carrier. If you have the single bolt its 05+ and the double bolt it is the previous years. www.ebay.com/itm/185652522593
