I have the exact same bike, '03 purple flames. Just a few modifications, Vance and Hines exhaust, Corbin seat, and added a tach. I'm 5' 10" and it is very comfortable for me. It has been extremely reliable, nothing but regular maintenance. I just wish it had a fuel gauge, seems I always have to switch to reserve at the worst possible times, like on the on-ramp to the freeway.

I got the same bike, bought it this last Christmas. I love the color on it. Mine has vance and hines straight pipes (loud and mean sounding) and straight drag bar handlebars. 15k miles on it. Its my first bike!

It was definitely a nice bike.

Looks like your front tire is a 110/90 if so your tirewill rub the center finder bracket at high way spead with a little ingenuity you can make a bracket to raise it up

i love this bike. Is the phantom better? which version is the lightest and best looking? Im a new rider, but im 53, 230lbs and 5'11 tall..The VTX 1300 is too heavy for me so im looking for a sexy alternative. Anythoughts?

Have a 2003 Black Widow, afik in US called Spirit. It's a gas to ride. The VT750s aren't light, but the Spirit is very nice to handle, and a relaxed bike.

I was thinking of getting one of these but not being fuel injected has got me hesitating.

They’re good bikes! I highly recommend them but I know what you mean about carburetors.

Thanks! It was just a stock Honda shadow handle bar. Not sure what the model number was the bike is already sold.
