I just bought one... from a sweet old lady. 37000kms, yes I'm in Canada. Bike is mostly OEM and the chrome is in pristine condition. I paid $5800 canadian pesos... what a steal!

Beautiful bike, I got my first street legal bike about 6 months ago. It's an '03 Anni Road King with the same 2 tone paint scheme. It had a little over 9k miles when I got it. I've put almost 2k on it since I got it and I didn't really ride it for almost 3 months. It's basically my Daily now. I love it!

​@@king18722I have the stock smaller ish ape hangers. They're probably 14", maybe 12"? If you're looking at one, you'll probably end up buying it. I have this 2 tone paint scheme and it's sharp looking,but I consider it to be a silver or grey if someone asks what color is it.

I got this same bike new in 03 my mom and dad passed away about 10 yrs ago and I let it sit kinda gave up on things for a few God bless them so last year took it to hd gave them 1500 to get it back to good didn't know they were going out of business got ripped off couldn't ride it just ordered new carb and tank only 6k miles on it can't wait till next week miss riding

Sweet ride. I picked up the XL883C version from a little old lady with 10K original miles and I still have the original Sporter seat.

Just bought one today. Pick it up tomorrow. Can't wait to ride.

Damn thats what I paid, but it has 53k miles on it, but the owner threw in handle bars, luggage, windshield, a seat, backrest and gloves. I was iffy about the mileage but I wanted it to be my first bike.

I have the same one. I'm in the process of re-acquiring all the "Restricted Sales Parts" for my xl1200c that I believe 2 repair shops either stole or replaced with the cheaper 100th anniversary edition "non-winged" parts after the original owner accidentally hit a bad pot hole and the idiot previous owner laid it down the second day he had it...he also treated it like a 1980's Honda and left out in the elements, after 4 days of polishing I managed to bring it back to it's original glory, thus far I purchased the derby and timer cover, next week it'll be the air cleaner plate and then it'll be back to the way it was when it was purchased new off the Milwaukee showroom floor.

Found a dust & grime covered 100th anniversary 2003 883 Hugger I’m doing my best to get ahold of. Beautiful machine that needs lots of attention.

i have the same bike from South Africa there's only two in the whole country mines outfitted with white walls and ape hangers and that's the only custom thing about it kept the paint everything original i never knew the tank badge is legit gold damnnn

Had one just like that one with a Screamin Eagle intake and exhaust kit on it and wish I never gave it up . Was a great and fun little bike !!

I also have the same bike love it too nice year and model they made tons of them though you can buy em all day long for 4 K not rare.... The Bike is a keeper... it will not depreciate lower than 300 if taken care of ...RIDE IT , SHINE IT, and Keep it dry !

I just inherited my dads IMMACULATE Anniversary Hugger 883 with 3745 miles. The only non Harley Mod is the Kuryakin Hyper Charger…many other upgrades including Stage 1… but ALL…original parts ( like the original exhaust) were kept and stored wrapped in stretch film / or in Tupperware air sealed containers. … All mods done by the local Harley Dealer near Washington DC..WITH MOST RCPTS… For the right price…. Maybe……. I can send pics… But I don’t NEED to sell it so please don’t offer the low balls I already have my own. Bike is now garage kept in Northern FLA…. Original solo seat, plus king and queen… forward controls installed , mid controls wrapped up…spare original Harley Gas Tank… not internally treated but … BRAND..NEW..CONDITION..

I bought a black one 883 with 4600 miles for 3800 bucks. Was garaged most its life. Doesn't have as much chrone on it though. Has service records on it including the 5k dealer done check. Looks and drives like new.

Just found your channel because my wife was fortunate enough to WIN a 2003 Sporty XL1200 Sport model in the blue/silver with 8k miles during a drawing at a rally we attended over the weekend. Based on this video, would you recommend keeping any accessories as HD only to ensure value doesn't go down over the years? The sport model had a few additional items like dual plugs per cylinder, upgraded shocks, and probably other things that I dont know about. Would you say that in good shape its a fairly rare motorcycle to find in decent condition? We plan to keep it, and "make it hers", but we dont want to lower value of the bike either. Any tips or info that you know of would be much appreciated. We have to go pick it up (5 hrs away) soon.

We have a few for sale here, this 100th anniversary special edition for about 7000€ that is almost the same in USD. What do you think? Is it worth it?
