2:47 when GM isn’t smart enough to have the hatch fold into the floor so they make it vanish into dust.. show me where you put the hatch GM, out in the fucking boonies with mountain bikes

You must not have been paying attention 20 seconds earlier in the video where they show the mid gate (what you called the hatch) being opened and let down, it has the rear glass stowed in it, and it is let down to a position even with the cargo bed floor, and that is what the bikes' front wheels are standing on. It's all there, it did not vanish. I know because I own one. First you fold the rear seats forward, making a platform for the mid gate to rest on, then you remove the rear glass and stow it in a recessed pocket in the mid gate, then you open the mid gate and let it rest open on top of the folded down rear seats, making a cargo bed that reaches all the way to the back of the front seats. The part you have to "make vanish" is the 3 bed top covers. You can stow them stacked edgewise next to the cargo, or leave them at home. The other drawback is you don't want any pouring rain to come when you have the back wide open like that. Personally, I would have hauled those bikes with the tailgate open so the rear wheels of the bikes could rest on the tailgate, and leave the mid gate closed and the rear glass in place to keep the weather out of the cabin.
