First of all, omfgstfu to the comment who criticized the vid for whatever inane reason your tiny brain concocted just so you can sound smart. You're not. So please don't ever speak. It's tools like you that are the reason why so many people don't post helpful videos, such as this one, anymore for fear of being criticized or flamed in the comments. Now back to business. Thank you so much for posting this video. You have no idea how much time and money you saved me. I really appreciated how much time you spent showing every single step in the process. I had a dead battery and my cable snapped off the handle same exact way as yours. I was ready to call a tow truck and pay to have it towed to the mechanic and pay him who knows how much for the repair. At bare minimum this video saved me $500. Did it myself and only cost me $14 for the part needed. Thank you so much! It's nice to see KZread still coming through with quality and helpful content such as this.

If anyone knows the spec for the T30 mounting bolts and the Philips head one which fits on the handle I’d be really grateful. Land Rover have discontinued the mounting bolts and the Philips head one is on back order! Thanks

Hey the part where the two cables come together at 2:08 mins into your video. Am missing that connector . I have the new cable but I don’t have the connection part. Do you know where I can get that ?

I’ve just replaced the cable. Everything smooth & easy, same route as original. EXCEPT, I can not get the rubber grommet/plug/boot fitted fully to the bottom. Only half way! I have used Vaseline, flat screwdriver, cheer power from one pulling the rubber and another pushing it. Is there a better way?
