My brother had that astra from 07, he drive it more then 10 years with no issues, reliable , he changed only battery and front disk brakes in all that time...

My Opel Astra g 2.0 dti IS GOD

This engine in my combi not so agile as yours. Still I like it so much. Good cars.

There were 2 different 1.4 16v engines for the G gen. Astra. Up until 2004, like in this one, the 1.4 xep (1388 ccm), more torque, higher consumption and the later 1.4 zep (1364 ccm) which feels weaker at low rpm (peak performance 90 hp for both engines), but it consumes 0,5 L less and it has better emissions. Overall, not a bad engine with this relatively light car, but the torque at low rpm could be better, it hardly does anything below 3000 rpm. Also, a long 6th gear would be good for the higway - but these flaws were more or less there in the main competitors (Focus 1, Golf IV) too

Good old car - simple and easy to service. One my suggestion - avoid diesel engines - 1.7/2.0/2.2 - old and unreliable. I had a lot of problems with diesel ;(

I had the 1.7 dt, bosh fuel pump problem x2, now i have the astra h gtc 1.7 cdti 110 hp 6 speed, 0 problem in 7 years.

@@banjo87 1.7 dti - 4x towing, 2.0 dti fuel pump problems, 2.2 dti head gasket failure, 1.7 cdti also are worse than hdi engines or tdi CR and jtd/mulijet . All engines I had in my cars ;)

@@pawek9143 well it depends, on the astra G maybe, on the H they fixed all major issues i think. My father aslo had the astra G 2.0 dti, last time i drove it it has 380000 km...

@@banjo87 Unfortunately no, newer 1.7 cdti are better, but worse than 1.9 cdti (FIAT engine) which was aso available in astra h - 1.9 is faster, more reliable, fuel consumption is the same.

I drove owur Opel Astra 1.6V yesterday and is good remainder of how hard and how not good is to drive this car with this car the main person problems is the gas pump under the back sit they well be ded it happened to me when I driving it the car well start to go like a crazy wild horse back front like is dancing some how we call it Трокирање or Трокира then this car has 200to go and its not thet powerful to make it in reverse then the big bumper then the heand brake was daying and you can imegene living on a montians City how this car well be deadliy since heand brake don't work and you can't put it in first gear then the people put a rock behind the back we'll s so I can't go it was bad experience with this shit trouble car this car is not for beginner or as four first car you well experience so much pain and trouble like I did this car is son of bitch big time 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 owir Opel is no caravan it's not a with big back the car is looking like this i in the video same dizayn can't tell the yer due to I don't know if has different weels and the rears was it 😄 they are like different shape no plastic on them is metal is not upgraded or tuned is factory like thet is bad for drive you can hear on the road or in the highway how noisy it is I was slipping in the Opel and the back sits are hard so yea and is in black colour as well this car is ok ok straith roads no montians roads or city when I see this car like mine is like a wet fart in pants 😂😂😂😂😂😂.

Why when he accelerates he does that on a hill It's not logic He should do it on the flat, like in all his other tests

@@pawelmalwiszek6853 Od 2001 roku 1.6 8V w Astrach G miał wtrysk wielopunktowy, inny kolektor ssący i inną głowicę. Głównie powodem zmian było wprowadzenie normy EURO 3, ale skutek tez był taki, że moc wzrosła do 84 KM. Twój silnik to Z16SE, a wcześniejsze 1.6 8V z lat 98-00 mające 75 KM to X16SZR.
