As long as the valve clearence is still good and the decompression arm isnt totally worn out, these motors will start 1-3 kicks dead cold. I used to kick start mine more often than i used the electric starter.

Very nice. Must be dialed nicely in wirh 1 kick cold. I have a 2005 525 exc. I use electric start. But dont think my bike is 1 kick

The e start is the way to go I only kick my bike on for videos but yea these ktms are very nice bikes

Depending on how you tune certain things anywhere from 100 to 120.
