I’m having trouble making room for the new brake pad on the wheel side, is that what you loosen that Allen bot on the right side of the caliper for? Need to get myself an owners manual

You need to compress the piston back into the caliper, a c-clap works for this.

Would be helpful to know how to compress the caliper!

Take a C-clamp and compress but I get you
