99-04 all look the same cobra or gt just different bumper and engine and other stuff body and looks the same, this why majority of new edge owners do cobra bumper swaps, including me, lol I don’t have 2000hp but I do make 1080 to wheels through a hellion twin turbo kit 67mm turbo upgrade and a mmr 4.75 1500se stroker! Trick flow ported heads stage 3 mhs blower cams

Modular > LS. LS's have their advantages, they are cheap to make 1000+hp, they have a pushrod design which also makes them cheap and simple, they have more displacement and are physically more compact which helps with shifting even though they are taller plus it is more it's easy to run just a turbo, but when you want something like 1500+hp, you already need to use Dart blocks or something, you use completely frankenstein heads, in short, it's no longer a GM engine and the value in those numbers is no longer different from a Modular who arrives at these numbers with the Ford stock block, with Ford stock heads. a Coyote for example, even with a stock crankshaft achieves this. Another thing is that Ford transmissions for heavy power and still being used on the street are better, nobody wants to use a Powerglide or TH400 on the street, but using something like a 6R80 is much more versatile and even top speed makes for roll racing and other things. Not to mention the differentials, which Ford differentials are placed in everything at these levels.

Zero to almost 200mph in 7 seconds, that is just insane. I can only imagine what it feels like to be inside, when it pulls. 😸

turned it up the morning of eliminations after a full night of rain. Anyone that has raced at MIR know the track leaches water but hey thats racing. in order to compete with 700 plus CI engines with my 331ci I has to turn it up. The track wouldn't hold it.

Anything with MMR on it is going to be a serious machine.

this is the car that started the comback horsepower wars between ford and chevy. Im a ford guy through and through but im glad chevy is still here keeping us on our toes

They're already building Fords new 445 cubic inch PUSH ROD motor out of the F250's and up. Just a matter of time and they'll be eating some LS's. Can't wait! Like the old days, push rod against push rod.

Mario L believe it or not Keith at WonderRacing and Nate Chesler at CRF LLC called out daddy Dave and Larry Larson last year at Pittsburgh Raceway Park and both of them wouldn’t bite. The best run between those two was maybe a 7.1 at our home track, would have been a great race if they wouldn’t afraid to lose face.

Dude those guys from street outlaws are STREET racers. This is legit drag racing on a prepped track theres a big difference between racing on a strip vs on the streets. Street outlaws are the kings of the streets. The show is called street outlaws for a reason not dragstrip outlaws

It's a huge joke. Go to the track. Be safe. So someone can save your life when ur car slams into something or blows up. Better to hit the wall than a telephone pole that cuts ur car in half. They can't even use all there power on the street. It's pretty stupid to build all that power and can't use it. And chief is shady and scared to lose. Racing is mentioned to be fun.

He can go faster with the parts he's using. Look up John Mehovez modular mustang or MMR Mustang. Besides, this guy is likely running his stock block, heads and crank. If goes LSX then its all mail order aftermarket. Rather see him run stuff that left the factory under the hood of an actual automobile. By the way stock block modular are deep into the 5s...in the 1/4 mile.

I do not know of an LS in the 5s? I'm hard pressed to find one in the 6s. And neither one would be running a block or heads that left the factory in a production car. Modular Fords have so much more potential. Fact.
