Great race meeting. I was honoured to be the local track announcer

I heard that Skaife started to get favoured when it came to parts in 00 (Lowndes himself is a friend of the family, though I've never met him myself), but certain people who were in the know during that time are convinced that Skaife had more power in most of the races. Going back, if it wasn't for engine issues, Lowndes would have won at least the first 6 races in a row. I went back over the season recently, and if you look at the results in context, after race 10 Lowndes would have had 8 wins, and two further podiums. He would have been untouchable at that point.

Absolute legend i miss the old races. You wouldnt have the 2003 04 05 seasons?

Ford, always complaining that the Holdens are too fast. If you don't like it, you should have built a better aero package to begin with. Don't try and disadvantage Holden just cause they're far more competent at building the aero kit for the Commodore. We all know how Fords '99 and '00 splitter sucked so much that they had to steal Holdens

1. The AU falcon was a hound and was barely competitive and 2. The Holden (Opel) fans are complaining that the new Supercars mustang's aero package so it looks like the shoes on the other foot in 2019

Can thank the tossers at holden for that the au was a better car and had to use sub standard crap because the holden wanks had a cry because they knew the au was a better car aero wise
