This was the true Olympics final. It's sad that Buvaisar couldn't even compete for silver.
Wow- B Saitiev was the most difficult wrestler to take down-PERIOD.Most difficult who ever lived. He routinely countered single legs-deep good shots by world class wrestlers-and SCORED on their shot. Slay-no fool-played it cagey-non of the energizer bunny type wrestling many of our-USA- wrestlers to win. He knew that a good shot-not IMMEDIATELY FINISHED- was death. His first shot-a double-he never actually went down fully to the mat-he sorta switched to a driving duck under and got the points-then 2 more. Saitiev is/was a wizard countering singles. If you left him a "leg to stand on" you were well and truly screwed. Hence the DOUBLE LEGS.Don't allow him his bread and butter super counter-which is impossible to describe other than you lost your takedown because of what he could do with his "off leg" you get taken down-frequently back exposed. Super flexible and obviously strong- B Saitiev might be the best wrestler ever-excluding John Smith-and maybe Jordan Burroughs. Slay and his coaches watched Saitiev closely-made a plan-it worked Of course it helped to be as strong as a horse-and a slick wrestler. WOW.
Slay dopingman
Great match. The Russians are always tough.

This guy wasn't just a tough Russian wrestler, he's considered one of the greatest if not the greatest wrestler of all time. 6x world champion and 3x Olympic champion.

He isn't russian. He is chechen, a republic in russia who had wars with russia for independence. We have completely different cultures, language and religion

Satiev'i yenmek, bir ömür övünmeye değer. Eskiden ABD'li güreşçiler dâ'imâ ve mutlakâ tuş olurlardı... Ne güzel günlermiş.
