The 2000 was fascinating to both watch and hear. Before any started hitting the center, it looked like a meteorological (weather) map of a tornado's wind intensity.

Kinda reminds me of a neutron star collapsing into a black hole. All the distant energetic particles succumbing to gravity, represented here by the funnel, until they become essentially one mass.

I don't know what it is about watching spherical objects spinning down a hyperbolic funnel that is so satisfying to watch. The glowing ones and the 2000 marbles were like watching a hyper sped-up spiral galaxy being pulled down into a super black hole.

These flow patterns are very interesting.Once the marbles are settled in their circular motion, the collision angles and impacts become smaller. That ballbearing run with the huge one keeping a steady course at all times due to momentum being proportional to mass was almost astronomical. What material are these "glow in the dark" marbles made of that makes them glow? Do you need to expose them to light before they can glow for a while? How long will it take an LED marble to lose its battery power? Do you think LED marbles can be constructed that are rechargeable by induction, so you can recharge them on your induction stove? Having the LED and glowing marbles run together looked very spacey, as in things you could see on the night sky in some sort of nebula, but only with a telescope, and in much slower speeds. The run with the 2000 color marbles was interesting because you could get a grasp of the event horizon from the overhead view as the lines blurred between the colors. Do you think a water funnel event would be interesting in which the marbles enter the funnel first and after several laps, you flush in some water from several openings located in regular distances in the funnel's outer margin? Maybe just flush a little several times over?

Thanks for your long comment! The "glow in the dark" marbles, some of them are made from pastic and some of them are made from glass with glowing particles inside it. The LED marbles are coming from an expansion set from a marble run toy. The LED marbles are not rechargeable and these rechargeable LED marbles does not exist yet as far as I know. With the current technology it should be possible to make rechargeable 16mm (5/8 inch) LED marbles which are more balanced by adding a weight. My idea is to use a translucent outer shell, with power SMD LEDs inside which runs on a rechargeable internal accu, and a weight made from high-mass metal like Tungsten or Osmium.
