There are actually Mannlicher M95 rifles for the Austrians in the mod. Even with working bolt animations

@1:50 The Italians and Austrians actually fought a series of about 17 separate battles during the course of WWI in that sector. Indy Neidell did an excellent week by week series covering WWI from 1914-1918 over the years 2014-2018 on KZread channel The Great War.

Very representative of how the battles of the Isonzo actually played out.

Uhm…actually Isonzo River is in Italy, specifically in Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region. It also passes through Slovenia, but I think the affected area in the map is the area that was then the border between Friuli (Italy) and the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

When you are Italian and at 12:15 you hear an NPC screaming "Basta! Basta spararsi! È pura follia!" which translates as "stop! Stop shooting each others! It's utterly insanity!"🥺

They never had the makings of varsity athletes.

My mind still can NOT comprehend the fact that this battle was fought 12 TIMES!!! The Isonzo game I say is pretty good...

Both of my great grandfathers on my mother's side fought at Isonzo on the Hungarian side. Thankfully both came home.
