I’ve had 5 of these bikes, and bought em running but damaged from the harley riders course dealership. I would fix em up and sell em to the kids in the family, or anyone that wanted em. I still have 2 of em. Currently own about 20 buells, all tagged and insured and rideable, I really enjoy being a buell owner. I don’t know everything about these buells but know a decent amount to get by. Currently having an issue with my 1125cr. It runs but runs terrible. I’ll never part with my very first blast. It’s ugly, it’s yellow and goofy looking to some. But it’s my apocalyptic bike, if I ever need to go somewhere where I’m not able to take my other buells off-road. Even in comparison to my Ulysses. It’s a very reliable bike, just oil changes and tires and bearings. Upgrades are fun to install also.

As good as it may (or may not) be; this bike had NOTHING on the Suzuki GS500, at least in Canada. These thumpers were sold for whopping $7000 CAD back in 2000s and for around two grands less; one could have either the aforementioned GS500 or the Kawasaki EX500, with parallel twin engines and Japanese reliability I might add, and frankly; which bike would you rather have?! And let's not forget the Kawasaki W650 which looked miles better than this... monstrosity while costing roughly the same (if I recall correctly)!

I am skimming through the video and you keep mentioning things like "it should say Harley Davidson on the tank" and "it should be black and orange" but the bottom line is it's a Buell, not a Harley Davidson. It's "a Harley Davidson company" but it's not supposed to be a Harley. Buell is it's own thing, and I think they did it right without putting a bunch of Harley crap on it. If that's what you want, go buy a Harley lol
