As a Clevelander, as much as Modell was happy to get that Lombardi Trophy, I believe that if he could have given that to the Browns organization, too he would’ve. Although it hurts that the team was moved and I blame him. I also have respect for what he did here. The city was also to blame. He and his wife, Pat donated a lot to the Cleveland Clinic. For that, I’m thankful.

how do u figure that? he was a 1st round pick! u want a person underrated on the defense? think about Corey Harris, the second Kim Herring got hurt , Corey stepped in and we didn't miss a beat, Defensive line men back ups Keith Washington, Lionel Dalton, Adauls Tomas Larry Webster, rotated flawlessly, back up secondary, James Trap, Anthony Mitchell, thats just defense, I could go on an on thats not even getting started with Offense or special teams

I don’t believe that Art Modell Jr. is a real person. The closest thing to him is David Modell, whom I think you’re referring to.

First, I'm like "where's Ed Reed?" Then I'm like, "there's # 20 !"... and it's Kim Herring. Was looking for Suggs too. Getting old means memories run together. It sux.

Sadly, he did. I just wish that Cleveland could have won. I wish that stadium bill would have passed four years earlier. It’s interesting that Al Lerner helped Art move and brought back the Browns.

Nope, they earned it via shrewd drafting and free agency moves. Championship fully deserved. Only 3 Cleveland Browns, DE Rob Burnett, backup DT Larry Webster and K Matt Stover remained.
