Classical guitars are our passion! We are specialized in the highest quality concert guitars as well as historic guitars from around the world. Our passion for these unique instruments and the joy to give guitarists, passionate players, and collectors the possibility to purchase their own appropriate instrument is the motivation that drives us. Another focus is to work closely with established and young, largely unknown luthiers. Together we want to develop new ideas and share experiences with our customers. We also recorded pieces for many great composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Astor Piazzolla and Isaac Albeniz (Asturias). You will also find almost all the classical music composers that wrote for the classical guitar. Make sure to discover Agustin Barrios Mangoré, Manuel Maria Ponce, Heitor Villa-Lobos and many more if you don't know their compositions already You can find our showroom in 76137 Karlsruhe, Roonstr. 31, Germany

    So beautiful. The tone of the Marrabello incredible throughout the range. There doesn't seem to be any areas that it doesn't excel in.

    Great vid again, Siccas. Hernandez y Aguado, no surprise there. It had the expected nice sound, vintage and sweet. Marrabello, it has a typical Italian sound as Jouyan said; that is a compliment, typical Italian sound is a good thing. Lijoi, I would stick to traditional. This guitar's sound would be even better if it was not double top. Hildebrandt, I liked it, a neutral but traditional sound. I honestly dislike the idea of laminated sides though. That perhaps adds to the neutrality of the sound. Boxy is better. The Jellinghaus Arias totally and completely rocked my world. I really love lightweight guitars, and the boxy sound, its volume, I bet it's French polished too. Honestly, add to it the attractive prize, and this was the best guitar for me today. Panormo, I have three comments: evokes a nostalgic feeling, I love that Sor study in E minor, and, thank you, Antonio Torres! Jouyan waited till the end to unleash on us the horrors of the guitar world. Yulong Guo, uh, Yulong no no no. Honestly, what a terrible sounding guitar. I've heard the very occasional decent sounding guitar from this maker, but this guitar today was truly atrocious. However, winter is coming; It would make fine firewood.

    Yeah the yulong was extremely dry sounding. I’d almost put it in the intermediate student category. I liked the Panormo for that distinctive pre Torres tone it has.

    The first was genuinely special with a sophisticated, capable voice not to astound but take the audience to familiar but never experienced places The very old one is a beauty to look at!! From the modern ones I liked the "very light" one (I think Aries 88), I would call it a PARTY 🥳🎉 instrument, it seems to lack sophistication BUT in a party setting, the sound is much more fun & indeed functional !

    Beautiful sound the Hernandez it just had a full voice that sang, the difference between filling out a note to the next note to embrace it just like someone singing. Italian guitars I love the sound of Italian guitars I do not know what the makers do but it fits my ear . The Marrabello was a lovely guitar as well different sound of course but lovely in its different sound

    The Panormo guitar sounds incredible …. My response was the same as yours when you played it: wow! Of course I’m listening on my iPad But the tone of that Guitar really came through … how is that luscious sound coming out of that small body?

    I see cypress isn't just for flamenco . I can't get excited over the look of cypress but pretty is as pretty does . Maybe some Rodgers would perk it up . Paul Hildebrandt is my number one pick this week for overall sound and looks , I love the headstock .

    How would the Panormo sound with gut treble strings and silver wound on silk for the lower ones?

  • @selfTaughtGirl
    @selfTaughtGirl9 ай бұрын

    The HyA seemed to percussive, when you played the solo melody there was too much thump and not enough note. The Hildebrandt would be a very exciting guitar to own with much pleasure to be had in discovering what it can do. I own 3 guitars, one seems to play by itself, another has a lovely sound but difficult to play, and the last is a moody bint... alive one day and dead the next!

    I was actually pleasantly surprised by the last guitar. It was quite beautiful in its own way. All are incredible though. I am a bit curious about the one made with cypress back and sides, was it intended as a quasi-flamenco instrument?

  • @SiccasGuitars

    Hi there, No, it wasn't. I agree that it looks like a flamenco guitar because of the cypress back and sides. But it has some different bracings and little details that are different than a flamenco guitar. However, there are some characteristics of a flamenco guitar noticeable!
