What stationary item would you recommend buying first when starting aesthetic journaling? I've tried but unless my spreads look good I loose motivation on regularly journaling very easily 😅

I'd either invest in a colored printer or go to a store to get prints done. You can print anything you want and places like USPS only charge 50¢ a page. Also a good tape/glue

I use a free photo editing app to fit multiple images on one page, then email it to the store to get it printed 100% recommend

Stickers washi tapes and colorful paper easy to use and you can find different things based on your aesthetic

I know colored printers are best but I've been thinking about buying one of those on the go thermal printers... are those worth it cuz I've heard that buying refills might be as annoying as buying ink for a normal printer...

@@bigsad6870 I've owned a mini thermal printer before (peripage), do not recommend. The ink fades like receipts do so I don't even see the pictures I put in my notebook a year ago anymore. Also, it only prints on black and white, and the quality is bad. Dunno if that's the specific printer I had, but thermal printers DO fade overtime just like receipts so if you're memory keeping it's not the best. I'd recommend the canon selphy printer instead, it's portable and high quality. But it prints photos on thick photo paper, so if you don't want your journal to be a big chonk, I wouldn't recommend it either. I think a safe in-between in terms of being compact and having good quality print is a polaroid printer, or an actual pocket printer (that also prints stickers!) like the HP sprocket. Although I don't have one of those so I can't attest to the quality. Hope that helped!

I live in india where we can't find any aesthetic Journaling stuff (according to my aesthetics) and that's very frustrating 😕 if anyone knows where I can find pls tell. I have been desperately looking for those,I know I can find it online but my dad's too sceptical to buy those online.Pls help

Same. .Print them out in a internet cafe, its what i do And if you have money to spare buy good markers and washi tape, plain ones and some grids. . thats all you need imo
