20 Years on Death Row - Bobby McGee interviews Devin Bennett

While ChristSong spent 5 weeks at Parchman Farms (MSP) in MS, Bobby McGee was given special permission to interview Devin Bennett on Death Row.
Devin has spent 22 years there. He has given his life and heart to Jesus and God is using him right where he is. Mr. Bennett has formed a nonprofit while on the Row. He and his organization help others from right there! He has also formed a church and ministers to other Death Row inmates.
This is his story.

My mom worked his case in post conviction. This man has literally watched me grow up. He’s still very close to me and my mom. We love him very much. His story is very complicated and complex. People forget how human people are.

Having worked at Clinton (Dennamora),and Attica prisons for over 20 years as a guard, then Counselor, Family Services Coordinator and lastly Assy. Deputy Superintendent and counseled David Berkowitz and Mark David Chapman and many other inmates convicted of heinous crimes , I can attest this, whom the Son has set free is free indeed. Out of darkness into his marvelous light. And that for both sides of the bars ! Amen. Known many inmates freer than the guards. I pray I may have the opportunity and blessing of visiting Parchman with Robby Heath and Bobby McGee.

By the way brother, as a man who carries the truth that I caused the death of those babies in the womb of their mothers when I was so steeped in sin and rebellion, drugs and alcohol, and now born again washed in the blood of the Lamb. I listened to his rap verse all the way up to the point where he talked about his crime, and I didn’t want to hear no more. People like him that have harmed the children get no sympathy from me. You were in prison ? I don’t know what you did but in Gods eyes it is equal to what this man did to get on death row . If you break the least if these commandments it’s as if you break them all . What’s he getting for being a con man ? He will die there anyway . Also most Christian’s aren’t saved anyway , this is very clear in the Bible . They never graduate to the meat , they stay on the bottle and go to the second death thinking they are saved . Was he baptized by a minister ? Probably wasn’t a baptism, not a real one . There are a billion Christian’s out there thinking they are saved and aren’t . Christian’s are saved through the believing Jews , there is no such thing as Christianity anywhere in the Bible . That’s why God says only a small remnant are saved , a small handful .

God is calling His remnant out of the church because it is corrupted so bad . There was never a physical church in the Bible . Where did the church meet? Acts 2: 46 "House to house Acts 5: 42 "House to house" Acts 8:3 Mouse alter house" Acts 10: 2 Comalias house Acよ 12:12 Mary's kouse Acts 16:32 Jailer's house Acts 16:40 Lydia's house Acts 18:7 Tius Juches house Acts 20:20 "House to house" Romons 16:5 Prisce + Aquiles hous 1 Connthians 16:19 Prisen + Aquila; house Colossions 4:15 Numphe's house Philemon 1:2 Philemen's house The church goers will be killing Gods remnant very soon believing they are doing it for God .
