Tendulkar was a phenomenon like no other! He played FC cricket at 15 years of age and scored a century. Then played Test cricket at 16 years of age and became India’s top batsman not too long after. Not many players play top class cricket at 15-16 years and even then they are mainly bowlers. Other so called greats in the era were like 5-6 years behind - They all took turns to have their time in the sun - Ponting, Lara, Dravid, Hayden, Waugh, Md Youssuf, Inzi, Kallis et al but there will only be one Tendulkar. Pressure was always on him to score and keep run rate healthy while there used to be little support at other end. Today's kid can't even imagine what he did for us. 73 runs from 64 balls against then world champion and heavy weight Pakistan bowling lineup , that too in Sharjah. It's remarkable. His every shot was enjoyable. Commentators were saying Kohli played less innings to achieve 46 odi century. No one said that the circumstances , sachin played not only against the world class bowlers Wasim, waqar, Walsh, Ambrose, Donald, Pollock, Vaas, Murlidharan, McGrath, Warne, Saqlain but also on dangerous bowling friendly wickets in aus, NZ, eng, sa , WI. Even in kohli's last 3 hundred against Srilanka, Bangladesh. How many class bowlers and dangerous pitches were there. One should account the all factors. Sachin has most 100 vs aus which was a dominant team last 2 decades. Kohli's inning against Pakistan in world cup was class.

@@nikhilranjan1649It was post 2000, not late 90s. India were still struggling badly even with the arrival of Ganguly and Dravid.
This early version up until ‘99 of Tendulkar is probably all time best batting! Those whips, those back foot punches, the audacity and technical correctness - that will be rarest of rare beautiful but powerful batting in cricket. I thank all the players including Ajay Jadeja (rotating strike), and bowlers who were all part of this amazing exhibition.

Sachin is one of my all time favorite batsman. Such a graceful cricketer with perfect technique. Lots of respect from Pakistan.
At 109 score for India here, Sachin made 72 avg. 7 runs per over, so imagine, how the other end batsmen were doing with adding 35 at the rate of 3 runs per over, this shows the class of Master blaster how he made runs against top class bowling
Sachin, The master blaster , what a player he was, a whole generation become cricket slaves due to him.

India v pak chepauk test 1999. India was chasing 271 in 4th innings and they were 82/5 by lunch. No recognized batsman to follow. Crowd of 35,000 stayed back with a hope that India would win. That’s sachin
Sachin hit Wasim Akram for six. That was an amazing six.
Sachin is THE ONE AND ONLY in the history of world cricket who had to meet the expectations of 100+ Crore people every time he batted during the whole decade of 1990s. NO COMPARISON!! Sachin is the first one who started scoring very quickly by hammering all the top bowlers of the world cricket!! That's how he got the tag of "Master Blaster"...yes, he literally blasted all the great bowlers of that era!!

Batting in twenty twenty style in early 90s awesome great great, first six was amazing shot
Such elegance when he is playing those shots!!
Absolutely amazing!!😮

Beautiful batting treat to eyes 🔥🔥
The greatest ever, Sir Sachin Tendulkar, the most complete batsman
That Sachin was fantastic. Hitting Akram over the fine leg boundry was amazing❤❤❤❤..
yeah....elated.!..now the sad part...India got allout for 219..after 111-1 in 21 overs...!...that was typical Indian batting throught the 90's...Pak won by 6 wkts!
Sachin the real master blaster 🙏
Best innings vs pak even better than 2003
Prime Sachin cannot be compared with any batsmen in the world, just a legend .

Extraordinary batting by Sachin Tendulkar!
Some people say that he played for records but most of time, i saw him playing attacking cricket and his shots. Most of time he got out playing his aggression. Yes, he didn't target to play till finish after coming as opener, those days pitches were tougher, bigger boundaries and not as friendly rules. Pressure was always on him to score and keep run rate healthy while there used to be little support at other end. Today's kid can't even imagine what he did for us. If he is gone, game is gone, TV shut off ❤❤❤❤❤
One important thing that we tend to overlook is he scored his runs against the red ball
I have bunked so many classes to watch him play. God so classy. I Can't describe him in word's
That square cut, that flick for 6, that pull shot... Ppaahhh! Has power, balance and timing that only Sachin could combine. Even after 31 years of this match there is no one to match him! I am lucky to have grown up in his era. Truly
Oh my God another century missed by best batsman in the world.
After the arrival of india most talented batsman ever yuvraj singh india start winning against big teams and in overseas.. yuvi won two world cups for india in 2007 and 2011 single handedly. world will never see a great talent like yuvraj singh..
Azhar played a Gem of an innings in this game..
Wow, that was the time when sachin use to single handedly dominate the opposition, in 90s his stroke play were mesmerising
Greatest batsmen big boundries world class bowlers
What a player he is brilliant ❤
India was 62 of 75 balls when jaddu got out... And out of that jaddu scored 19 of 45 balls... That means Sachin scored 40 plus runs of 30 balls against this pace attack.... Salutes
He would have scored 10k more runs in this generation with this outfield n dumb bowlers 😂he played in one of the best bowling era n legendary bowlers
