It sucks that you're having trouble finding motivation to do these 50 wins series, but I totally get it. I'm sure this has already been suggested, but I think that if the game itself has gotten harder then it's only fair to you and to us that you adjust your ruleset accordingly. Maybe a 3k is still a win and a 2k is just a tie? Most people consider 3 sacrifices a win and 2 to be a fair game in general, so while there would be haters (because there are always haters) most of us just like to watch you play. Good luck man in any case :)

Well I’m a newer player, I maybe have been playing for a couple months at most, but I have a clip of me winning by hooking everyone once. Nah im sure a win streak challenge every now and then would make sense. "Im gonna play hag next week until i lose" for example.

It could be interesting to try for 50 wins with certain adjustments for MMR. 1. Full Add-ons and Perks. 2. Win on 3 or 4 dead. 3. "Draw" on 2 dead - no win, but no loss of streak.

I see what you're saying, but personally I think the term "50 win streak" should be broken by a tie, which is a *non*-win. Imo 50 win streak = 50 consecutive wins, not broken by 1 or more ties. Just my opinion tho :)

I almost think that would be too easy. Securing 2 kills is super easy especially with the best add-ons on some Killers. So not thrilled about the idea. But I'm exploring options haha.

I believe full add-ons would lose the point of mastering vanilia killer, maybe only 1 brown add-one after 20wins, 2 brown at 30 wins ot something like that, It should help balance the mmr system :d

So if the 50 win series needs to be adjusted for skill-based MMR making things harder, does that imply that SBMMR is working as intended (i.e. skilled killers like not otz are going against skilled survivors more often)?

Think of it this way: Every time Otz gets a 50 win streak, he goes against (up to) 200 different survivors at most or 150 survivors at least, wherein the net 50 escaped by hatch only. That's insane. In a 20 win-streak, he goes against up to 80 different survivors at most or 60 survivors at least, assuming that, again, the net 20 escaped via hatch. The new system means that these 80 survivors are (more often than not) very skilled, hackers, or really persistent. Not quite as insane, but to go up against 80 people on a same skill level is still absolutely monstrous, man. Frickin' legendary, Otz.

I do like that all the main strategies of playing Pinhead revolve around controlling his box, very thematical to the movies where you can't really beat cenobites with anything else but the box itself.

Still miss his 'I Came' voice line... It adds a lot of intensity and flavor to his character

We didn't try as much or for as long as previous streaks, but with this system, I don't think that's strategy is very viable. If you're winning 90% or 95% of your matches for a few weeks your chances to go against cheaters / stacked teams only get higher. The intro will hopefully explain it! 😉

I've attempted the streak with Deathslinger and pre-nerf and MMR, I had a solid 30 win. Now with the nerf and MMR, I can only get to 7 and it went to a point where I couldn't miss one shot or else it would've been too late. Its crazy to imagine how you can get 20 wins in a row using such a difficult and not so potent killer. GGWP Otz

Thanks for this Otz. Between this and your cube video, I really feel like a whole new killer playing Pinhead. I contested(and won) every single cube in my first game after these videos and it felt sooo much more oppressive than usual.

I was waiting for something like this for such a long time!

You should start a coaching series, where people upload there matches, explaining their current rank, hours played, and the build they had. Where you can then go through and analyse the match, what they did right, and what they did wrong. As someone who only has roughly 150 hours but roughly the same on your channel that would be really cool to see differing levels of ability. And tips for each given ability (ie beginner, intermediate, advanced, lizard level plays)

You opened the MMR, and I came.

Been playing since there were only 3 killers. Never watched your content for lessons just for fun but every so often I pick up something from your gameplay I find interesting (especially since I'm a trapper main) and it makes me better every time.

Learning this game for the first time has been really fun, and a super cool experience thanks to you! keep it up! And thank you for your hard work

You made a great point in the beginning. I’m starting to get burnt out with the mmr on my favorite killers. I hate running all meta perks and the only way I can keep up is with them or good add ons. My favorite killers are blight and demo and without the slowdown meta into games end too quickly for me to get more than 2-4 hooks. Overall point is I’m starting to get burnt out because the only way to “win” against these really good survivors is tunneling, camping, and other tactics of that sort. I’ll probably be playing survivor if the que times stay around ten minutes and don’t get any higher

I've been having a quite terrible problem with pinhead recently. I use the lethal pursuer perk to find the lament configuration consistently, but for some reason, after uninstalling the PTB I've been having some delay when loading in. Last match I played as Pinhead, I loaded in so late that two survivors already were on a generator long enough to fail a skill check on it while I was still in my spawning animation. I can't reliably see where people spawn, so I can't be sure where the configuration is. I really hope there's some way to fix this.

These winstreak videos are fucking amazing. I love them. Honestly just any kind of DBD video has been incredibly enjoyable, you are a fantastic content creator, just keep doing what you have been doing. I have never played DBD but you make it so engaging that I just want to watch more. :)

To play pinhead on a high level all you gotta do think outside the box.

I really think if they keep the the chains breaking I could see one of two changes 1) make the chain that spawns from breaking chains so fast it's literally cannot be dodged. That way they always have to spend time breaking all 3 chains so landing his power is consistent. The issue he has is that you are sometimes not rewarded for skillfully using his power...it's very RNG and most pinheads rely HEAVILY on the box. 2) Make impaling wire basekit. Still a bit RNG but my games I've played with this addon make his power feel SOOO much more reliable.

You're an inspiration to players. I've only started playing this game just over a month ago and I always watch your vids whenever I'm not playing XD

I had 2 hackers in one game once, one was really blantant and finished gens with two taps, the other one in end game chat said he turned on gen speed by 2% so its less obvious. Really makes you doubt your usual games without hackers and just really good survivors too

Any plans to make some modifications to the win streak rules to compensate for mmr? I think it'd be fun to maybe allow add-ons or something after a certain amount of wins to compensate for the more and more stacked teams

I really, really recomend Starstruck on Pin Head. As a Pin Head main this perk is a great way to stop survivors from opening the box while carrying a survivor

Mmr makes zero sense in a game as unbalanced as this. The devs have even admitted the mmr system doesn't work very well, which is silly in its own right. If it doesn't work, and everyone hates it, then turn it off. They've done it before with their first attempt at implementing mmr.

Honestly, the amount of stress you endure for our entertainment, is respectable. Especially with MMR... Streamer of the Year for sure .

Great job Otz, getting even 20 wins in a row with any killer is really impressive these days, what I might recommend doing is changing the rules so 3-4 kills = win 2 kills = tie 0-1 kills = loss

20 wins may seem not as grand as the 50 wins you were pulling before, but with MMR being an absolute 80 degree uphill battle for win streaks, this amounts to the rest of your awesome killer streak content. Awesome job!

I've been away from the scene for a while and this is my first time seeing Pinhead. He looks really cool and hearing that he is one of the weaker ones and still got nerfed perfectly describes why I stopped playing. This game studio has the most out of touch devs I have ever seen. I love the videos when you just discuss the game

While I enjoyed this series a lot, I think it's good that MMR is designed to make streaks like this happen less. Winning 50 games in a row is a completely insane feat, and it takes a lot of pubstomping to even be possible. I doubt everyone in those 50 games is having fun playing against otz and getting destroyed. I will say that the cheating thing is BS, cheaters are so lame.

Otz cured my depression, I think. I LOVED one girl, from the big letter, and when I spotted she's interesting a bit, she started loving her friend, who's basically my best friend, and she was like "Danya, I like you very much, let's be kinda more than just friends 😍" (Danya is my friend). If you get me, she's first I liked because she's interesting like a person (other people I liked, I liked them cus of horny me). It's very hard, because firstly I need to not hate my friend, and then I need to stop being bonded to her, like stop trying to play games with her, stop being too nice to her. Thank you, otz.
