    Good stuff I especially like the Drop 2-3 and Drop 2-4 spread voicings. Playing with these in II V I's is fun to experiment with combining the different Drop voicing type for that open/close sound. Thanks as always.

    for super beginners looking for a tenor bass hack, mixing these voicings will give you structure for those lines. Just now finding this out. and i would have never thought of drop 2 as tenths

    sometimes I hear people say to be careful with doubling the third on top of chords. do you think this applies to seventh chords as well even in these voicing?

    Great question! Honestly I believe those are just rules that get in the way of creativity! It’s not wrong if it’s intentional! Adding notes can create a cluttered sound if not voiced properly! The way you voice chords are preferential! Do what sounds best to you! ✊🏾
