I have used watch with all functionality working and with some of the features being off means only operate when I manually wants it. And I have seen a huge difference. With full functionality it hardly last 15-18 hrs after full charge. But with some features being off and some adjustment the battery performance have increased upto 10 hrs more. So it lasted around 30-35 hrs for me(The battery still had 6%)

@DHRME Go to settings, scroll down to about watch, software info, tap software version 7 times. Then back out to the main settings screen. All the way at the bottom under about watch, you'll see developer options. Click on it, then scroll down till you see window animation scale, transition animation scale, and animator duration scale. Click on all three of them and make sure it's set to off. The higher the number, the slower the watch will be, but the smoother the transitions will look. A lot of people like it, I don't. Plus, it saves a lot of battery.

Namaste DHRME! I found all the tips extremely helpful in saving some extra juice on my samsung watch 4 classic. Only one doubt I cannot find the greyscale option anywhere in the accessibility section. Is it region specific? I bought and using it in India.
For info, according to some testing i've seen about multiple watches and how the Android OS works, having the Always on Display would actually be better for battery life compared to "Raise to wake", which wakes up the main CPU constantly. It could depend on how many times you check it during the day, of course. But Always on Display on an AMOLED display relly has a small impact on battery compared to the main CPU, some testing could be interesting. On my old Fossil Gen 4, Raise to Wake does indeed destroy the battery way more than having the AOD on and Raise to Wake off.

Thanks for so much information and of course, funny moments 😅 Please, if you have a litlle time, answer me just to one question : If I turn on "power saving" mode, I also receive all notification, but my question is - if in this mode (power save) works vibration on watch ? I ask because on my job I don't use phone. Thanks again for everthing and best wishes and regards for both of you ! 🎉

@@tanmaysinghal8370 What increased my battery life the most is turning on Bedtime Mode. I have the smaller version with smaller battery and always used Do Not Disturb but once I set up the schedule for Bedtime Mode my battery life increased dramatically. I guess that my watch was constantly turning on the watch face as I moved during sleep. Now I'm getting at least a day and a half.

How do I turn off the steps feature on my Galaxy watch? I learned a lot from your video.
0:37 😂 that was a classic joke!
Good tips. Couple of comments and questions. First, will it help with a Galaxy Watch 3? Secondly, if I do all of these (except the watch only one), how much more battery life can I expect?
Bought my Watch 5 two days ago. 1] Battery life looks to be around one day. I have tweaked so many things... display, notifications, grayscale, turn off lte, sound and vibration, health features, gestures, etc. I've heard of three to five days. Will it get better? 2] Notifications on watch - sound and vibration - are not consistent. Is it normal that it misses some? I'm just learning. Appreciate any help.

I just traded my 3 day old Samsung Refurbished Watch 4 Classic that was beautiful for the 5 Pro Titanium wifi vers. I need some battery life. My 2yr old Amazon Refurbished Samsung Gear S3 Frontier still last up to 2 days but it's old Tech & I'll use it as a back up. I think the 5 Pro will do me just fine. That Watch 4 Classic wouldn't last a single day & that's with everything off or on low settings, including heart rate monitoring. Now I shouldn't have to worry about battery life. I just got to wait a week for it to come in 🤟
Please do a video for all standalone smartwatches even if you don't have the watches

Yeah I use basic wf battery time date
Just got my Galaxy 4 Classic yesterday and I've charged it fully twice already. Shocking and there is simply no possible way I can use a watch that drains before lunch. Trying to complete the software updates repeatedly and hope when that's finished this will improve..... or I'm returning it to the seller
@bestinlot
Жыл бұрын
After few days, the battery consumption should have improved. It adjusts to your usage, and first one or two days it drains more. Did you see any improvement? And is that a 42mm?
If anyone's looking to buy the Galaxy Watch 4 series watch, I'll recommend getting the GW4 LTE (or classic LTE). It lasts me 1.5 days easily with everything on. Crosses 2 days+ if I disable AOD and automatic monitoring. It has a bigger battery than the Bluetooth only version and if you use it connected to the phone (like I do) you get advantage of the bigger battery.
@andresp9020

May I ask where you got this information? According to the manufacturer, both the LTE/Bluetooth & the Bluetooth only variant of the same model have the same size battery.
@Alex-ss7kf

@@andresp9020 He got it wrong, yes. The larger versions of the watches - 44mm/46mm(classic) have a bigger battery than the smaller ones - 361mAh vs 247mAh -
Bro if colour stylish always on display is on 24/7 on watch 4 what is battery time because i just want this watch for always on display???
The reality is the battery is really small. My Huawei GT3 Pro can have AOD on and still last for days at a time. The Watch 4 Classic needs to be charged at least once a day either way. If it weren't for the really crappy integration of the GT3 Pro's HarmonyOS with Play Store apps -- and the dearth of usable apps in Huawei's own ecosystem -- I'd use the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic less.
I have a new galaxy watch 4 and I charge it twice a day it goes down 10 % every hour with most things turned off how do people get two days off battery 🔋 I'm confused 😕
Which charger is best for galaxy watch 5 pro?
I'm also waiting for earfun mini buds
In watch only will it do step count .. I mean after we turn on watch mode and if we walk for some kilometers and then we turn off watch mode back to normal mode will it would have already counted the number of steps we walked while watch mode was on. Please do give me an answer. That we can reach our step goals without draining much battery during critical battery percentage levels

Watch only mode is watch only. None of the smart features will work then.
You forgot one point: switch off GPS positioning 😉😉😉
Serious tips and funny joke +1
Great video, but it seems to me that we have to disable everything that it is interesrting to save battery life... Which brings me to the question, why did I buy this Galaxy Watch 5?
Why can my active 2 watch have every setting on and still have the battery last 2 days but my wife's galaxy watch 4 has sucky battery.....
Set as watch only, plays 35 days
Bluetooth turns on automatically on my Galaxy watch 4 Classic,and this drains battery the most
Whats the point if you are not using the watch for it's full functions
My watch4 classic 42mm, the battery life only last for 24hours :(

Right? Apple has better options with watch faces.
Cool tips. Many "options" on the watch are not options, they are "default" and many aren't needed on a daily basis: O2 sensor all the time? Unless you think you have cought COVID-19 (or have a cardiac, condition, etc). Stress sensor all the time? If your stressed all the time, better seek help right away (there specific moments when needed). Movement sensor all the time? Absurd, unless you "need" to move by a medical prescription or perhaps you are too lazy and "need" to change habits soon. If you have a busy lifestyle, my guess is that you move quite often. Too "many" reminders about our health is not healthy. Just change what you really need. My humble opinion.
I get less than a day from each charge.
I lost 50% while wearing at how for 4hours I disabled most of the function's
All done..still drain in 10hrs 😢..lte version
There's a reason why you'd need to track blood oxygen levels during sleep: if you have apnea, or suspect that you have sleep apnea. I would strongly advise against turning this off just to save a few minutes of battery life.
I think we swithh off and when ou want start workout start it then 🤣
😂 black face vs white face 😂, I just want to save battery life😁
If you want to save battery life then turn off all the cool features of why you got a smartwatch in the 1st place...you're welcome

Because people complain lol
Thanks so much for the tips! It's stupid though how you have to turn off features that make the watch actually helpful in life. Yes I can turn on the features everytime I actually need them but it really limits the usability of the watch. For example I like keeping bixby listening so I can tell it to start a timer for example. Or auto detecting when I am walking the dog. I never had an issue with my Galaxy Watch 2 lasting 1.5 days and now I have to charge the 4 twice a day if I want to use it in the same way :/
@TonyPaulazzo
2 жыл бұрын
Just keep the Bixby thing on - like, I like the lift to wake and keep it turned on (but if I'm gonna watch a film I go into quick settings and turn theatre mode on). I think it's more about turning off stuff that's non essential to your way of living. Battery life is atrocious tho', new Watch4 owner and looking at those Huawei watchs with 2 weeks life and wondering if I should swap - tho I love the Watch4 aesthetics. Brilliant video guys btw, one of the best I've come across.
