This allowed the drivers to literally hear when the signal would be given to give them a headstart. So all the drivers jumping the start where tricked by the fia sending the signal ahead of the lights changing to green to find out wich teams where taking advantage of it.

This is a rumour from a certain KZreadr that hasn’t even been confirmed. The actual reason was that two drivers at the back of the field were waving their arms because they had issues. You can see the yellow flag at the back just as the lights are about to go out.

@@Shewbz It doesn’t when you break it down though. If certain teams were cheating then both of their cars should have jumped the start. Instead we see 1 Sauber, 1 Jordan, 1 Williams, 1 Prost etc. They’re simply reacting to the yellow abort lights which are above the red lights.

Silverstone 2004(?) - Olivier Panis retires after the fire extinguisher in his cockpit goes off and blinds him with foam Monza 1998 - Johnny Herbert spins out after a spanner left in his cockpit by a mechanic slides under his brake pedal I think there was a race at Brands Hatch in the '70s where Niki Lauda made a late pitstop, only to be stuck in the pitlane as someone had *parked a tractor* in the pit exit (the organisers reinstated him in 5th place on appeal iirc) Also, those strange Monaco winglets remind me of the Tyrrell "X-Wing" and its copycats in the early 1997 season, also strange enough to make a second list!

How can you not love Fernando and his great fun-loving attitude. Absolutely the best.

And I can’t really understand how people love this dude. He’s arrogant, ignorant, just outright a horrible personality. Incredibly toxic and these features basically tanked his career. I really don’t get how people like him. No integrity: 2007 - told on McLaren not because it was the right thing to do but more of him being humiliated by a rookie everyone expected to be dominated or at least under control by the Schumacher-Slayer 2008 - still baffles me how people really think he did not know of Singapore 2009 - had redbull and Honda asking him - his arrogance prevented him from going to the two teams who would win ALL championships for the next 12 seasons 2010-2014 - toxic sludge 2015-2019 - even more toxic sludge and the “GP2 engine” manufacturer would provide the first non Mercedes title since 2014 I just don’t get how people like this dude or Verstappen for that matter which I consider just a poisonous
