I can't tell you how many times my younger siblings literally made me bleed and my parents did absolutely nothing. However, once I was in the restroom and I left my younger sisters in the room with my younger brothers, but when I come back, both little sisters are crying and my younger brother is on the floor holding his stomach. I asked the oldest one down there, who was 12, and he said that the twins hit my other sibling in the gut with their toy vacuum cleaner, then they accidentally bumped heads. This caused my dad to come downstairs and he screamed at me for not watching them and I had to scrub the house from top to bottom afterwards. It wasn't fair since I was only in the restroom for a few seconds and I trusted my little brothers to keep things under control.

I think the younger sibling barely gets in trouble cause a lot of their parents start to spoil them that basically leads to favoritism : the practice of giving unfair treatment to one person or people while giving Good treatment to the other person.
