I remember playing BO1 and BO2 with the same 3 people everyday for years until we got older and split ways and lost contact. They may not ever see this but i love the memories we made together and thank you for being the best of friends

Call of duty 4 was the greatest time in gaming history for me and friends. Search and destroy was always my favorite! And grinding them camos over and over was amazing. Even the story was so epic. The Chernobyl sniping level was just epic and will always go down in history as such A great mission

I legit got once 43 kills on nuketown with the death machine oof how I miss it

First cod I played was Finest Hour, it was referred to a medal of honor ripoff but it was so much better

I remembered almost all of these. I didn't know about cage match until CoD 4 remastered and I didn't know about 3rd person spectators on OG SnD. But I used to 1v1 my cousin on MW2 and the first game I regularly played online was BO1 shortly after launch. The Golden age was the best! I still miss OG Sticks and Stones.

Remember when 99% matches in CoD multiplayer ended because we reached the score limit as opposed to the time limit... good times

Nope, COD 2 and COD 4. Y'all are obv just too young to remember how great of a game COD 2 was. That was what defined Call of Duty with the first IW engine. The engine still used to this date (albeit heavily modified).

I started playing on 2007 with cod 4 and didn't finish until around 2016 when black ops 3 ended. Was a great 9 years with a lot of good memories. Helped being a kid at the time so had literally all the time in the world!

Started on Call of Duty 2. Meet people that I'm still close friends with to this day. We probably spent more time in the lobby talking, doing impressions and making jokes than playing. I stopped after Black Ops 2.

When you’re on a great streak and someone rage quits and the game ends; “The host has left the game”!

I started with COD 3 but was in top 15 for FNG on COD 4 in the world and now being 29 with responsibilities I have 8 solo wins on Warzone and a 1.2 KD on multi and haven't touched ColdWar beyond the free alpha. Definitely still love the series but now looking back it's insane how much skill can and time can go into it.

Oh my, I had forgotten about like 70% of all of these things. Thank you for the nostalgia, I'm glad I came across your video.

I miss being able to see everyone else's stats and k/ds in the lobby!

My first ever call of duty was call of duty finest hour for the Xbox

I remember a game of Sabotage on mw2 Skidrow. The match went on forever with it ending in a draw. The most fun I ever had on that game with my friends. So tactical

i started playing when cod 4 first released, didn’t know what call of duty was my parents just got it for me one day and it’s still one of my all time fav video games

Duddddeeee I was literally thinking about Third Person Team Tactical I’m so glad you mentioned it. So many people never played this mode!

2 in half mins, faceoffs, cage matches, OG league play, one in the chamber, sharpshooter, god this made me feel so old lol

I USE TO LOVE how you could beef with a whole other team pre game destroy them in game and tear them up in the after game lobby

The one thing I truly miss about COD is being able to just hop on and have fun with any class. Now I gotta try my balls off cuz these nerds snap on aim and always using the best guns

Nice man! That was my first CoD game too. Got it for xmas from my brother, when I was about 13 or 14. It had a multiplayer, but that did never work on PS2. The campaign was pretty cool with all those history channel videos, the Band of Brothers rip-off story and all those unlockable infos about weapons, vehicles and historical events.

Really was the best time period. Between Cod 4 and Halo 3, it was to this day my favorite memories of gaming. And my first consoles were the N64 and PS1. Heavily played PS2, gamecube, and xbox. Still doesn't compare to the amount of fun I had playing multiplayer from Cod4 through Black ops 2

First COD was MW2. I rented it from blockbuster video on Xbox 360. The level up music was so satisfying. I remember laying prone on the roof of the boat house in estate and sniping folks to their displeasure. 😅

First COD I played was the original one on PC. Used to lean with the KAR98 while crouching your player would do a weird body glitch making the hit box smaller. It's now called COD classic.....feel so old lmao

Watching all of these memories nearly bring a tear to my eye. It truly was the golden age, and I miss playing cod with the bois

The first Call Of Duty I played was the WW2 one which was COD 2 back in 06, It was before we had the create a class system and all the new features associated with the games today

Been playing since it was new the COD on PC even before United Offensive was released. That was my favorite era. The Golden age is a very close 2nd for sure though.

I remember in the golden age for like bo2 the theater mode was actually advanced with like dolly cameras and many in depth options but also in the golden age custom matches had so many fun options to do! Now in Cold War you have like 3 options in custom games it’s honestly boring you can’t play Michael Myers or trick shot or do anything. And last but not least final killcam

Big Red One on PS2 was my first foray into the game. Oh how times have changed.

Started playing cod4 and mw2 on my uncles Xbox I would go over to play all the time, finally got my own for bo1, mw3 and bo2.. truly the greatest cods of my life

COD's golden age was my middle to high school years. I honestly feel lucky and super nostalgic when thinking back.

Man COD 4 was my first. I remember watching S&D ninja defuse montages on KZread and trying them in game. Being the last one left, successfully defusing the bomb seconds after it was planted, then hearing your team scream down their mics when the round was over. Such good times...

I started playing cod maybe before modern warfare. My grandpa had the early cods like 2 and 3 on PlayStation 2. I then was introduced to call of duty modern warfare by a friend of mine in 2nd grade. So I’ve been playing cod since I was a toddler, I’m 21 now. My first Xbox life experience at my house was modern warfare 2 or Black ops. Those two cods I played religiously. Black ops 2 was the last cod I played that compared to the time spent on mw2 and bo1.

I'm here in 2022 Watching this in tears with all the nostalgic memories flooding my brain, wow, didn't realize all the memories of cod I had I'm 34 and I always had cod to play what an amazing time I lived through with gaming. Great video 🙏

Yeah they do. Even if they do it the Black Ops 2 and MW3 ways and just call them Party Games with no CoD Points involved.

I came back to video games with war and went backwards and forwards....I picked up video games again at the time to be able to spend more time with son when he didn't live with me,I could talk to him daily and interact in the games.

I've been playing COD since the original game released, but I didn't have it on PC so it was all campaign mode. I think the 3rd installment was my first playing online multiplayer.

COD 2 Multiplayer where it all started for me on MAC. There was custom maps too back then.

I started playing COD about 6 years ago with my buddy on his Xbox 360. The first COD I ever played was WWII from 2005 😂 it’s actually my favorite COD because split screen never got us so hyped on any other COD game.

I was almost 18 when I got modern warfare 2 on xbox 360. My first experience with online play(not on Pc) was CoD Mw2 and Halo 3.

My first COD was COD4 played it as as a kid. After BO2 it went down hill fast! I remember playing split screen just so you can level up your account while the other person can level theirs up.

Pure nostalgia. This was great!

I was like 2-5 years old during this age, but my first COD game I played was 2 years ago and it was BO1 on Wii. From then on I have played about half of the COD games including COD: Mobile

In my opinion BO1 was the best of the golden age titles, hands down. Wager matches, great maps, great Gold, great guns. No other game has come close for me.

Yep. It's because it's the sweet spot where you get all the good new stuff that game introduced without all the crappy balancing stuff the later games had.

The golden age of cod for me is playing cod 4 at 6 am and getting my account reset by a modder and begging for it back 🥺

My first CoD was Black Ops, but I also went back go play MW2 around 2010 as well.

BO1 was my main game. Granted, I've destroyed a TV and God knows how many controls, but I still remember it fondly.

I guess I'm old school. I'm in my mid 20s now. I'm in the generation that started during cod 4. Or mw1 2007.

Sometimes I just remember the cod game that year to explain something that isn't cod related :D

My favorite was the infinite care package glitch. Especially since they had to patch it like 5 different times

The ones I miss and don’t at the same time. Jugg MP5, Jav/Danger Close Glitch and Martyrdom 😂

When you’re the first one to load onto a lobby, you knew you were host. Leaving the game would pause the game momentarily as it finds another host for the game

Started playing 2006-2007. Waw/cod 4 were my first played games but bo1 was my most played next to bo2 and still my favourite.

i vaguely remember renting cod 2 and playing the multiplayer. wasnt a big fan until cod 4, but thats where i started.

I remember sitting in my living room playing MW2 on my PS3 and listening to Metallica. Good times

Damn i miss the old days but i am proud i was a part of it. 2010-2012 was just perfect

I'm 27. I've played every CoD that came to PlayStation. I was late to the multiplayer scene starting with BO1 which IMO is the best CoD. I did go back and play WAW, CoD4 and MW2. Top 5 CoD's for me personally are BO1, BO2, MW2, MW3, and BO3.
