    This is the first Time I hear this kind of swahili. C'est la première fois que j'entends cette forme de swahili. Ini dé mara ya handra ni kiyawo swahili iyo. Kimaore from Mayotte Island. Very interesting vocabulary.

    Kunradhi is right but samahani is much better because it is widely used.

    Man that thang was giving me fits 😭😭😭 cause I wasn't seeing the extra syllable so I started paying more attention to the pronunciation than the spelling. I only speak African American English this the first language I'm attempting to learn and whew chile 🤣🤣

    are they purposely trying to make this language hard because everything she saying I've head a different word the only thing I’ve seen she got right was jumbo not to say she’s wrong but I’m just confused I’ve heard different way to say good night and everything else.

    I guess you have to live in the country or around native speakers in order to fully grasp the nuances in the language. Even in English, some words have multiple meanings depending on context. For example, "fan." You could be talking about a cooling system or a fanatic in the stands.

    @sharonprossy8572 true I'm Kenyan helping my hubby and kids in Florida. Our Swahili (Kenyan ) is very different from Tanzania. They speak more advanced Swahili. Even in Kenya Swahili spoken at the coast is slightly different from Nairobi's. So I suggest learn the basics but interrupt with locals to practice. Just be patient with yourself. Also where one grows up really influences the Swahili they speak such as big cuties most mix .mix Swahili with English words for instance Sasa (How are you/what's up?) and respond as fit (fit as in I'm good or ok same as English)
