Novikov could have a whole highlight video. Man is determined. So symbolic 💪🏻

246kg overhead, is insane.
Honorable mentions: - Wide Pavlo pulling 900 lbs for 12 at the Rogue, even doing one more rep than necessary just to establish dominance - Tom Stoltman push-pressing 240 kg and looking like he might have been able to do even more - Oleksii Novikov being so good at dumbbell that he took a water break in the middle of the event at the Arnold and still won by a margin - Tom Stoltman breaking the record in the Shield carry and looking like he could have gone for much further

that wide pavlo deadlift was epic was expecting it on a high spot.

Oleksii is so good at circus dumbbell that we're all used to it by now. But my goodness will I watch any time he's doing it, it's a damn work of art.

Even though Martins won the event there was something so inspiring and emotional about Oleksii pulling it off just when you thought he wasn't gonna manage it. Oleksii is always so exciting to watch

We will all miss watching JF. What an impressive lift that was.

Will he squated 1k..

@@FCBcubano i was there that day and he 100% squatted 1000 if he needed to, could have gone above that even. The 966 was like RPE 7. Which is why it shocked the next day when....
I think oleksiis truck pull has to be number one for me. The fact that he is disadvantaged on a truck pull and still managed to win totally blew my mind, I did not expect that whatsoever.
Chloe Brennan. Proof that it's not the woman in the fight but the fight that's in the woman. Inspirational.
Chloe at the arnolds was my favourite
Vilius Jokuzy’s WR Husafell carry is extremely impressive! That record had stood for 25 years 💪
Loved watching this! So many ace moments- Sams DB and Andrea's hummer lift absolutely insane...the amount of women deadlifting over 300kg that night was just ridiculous 🤯🤯🤯

You lifting the replica dinnie stones was definitely the most impressive thing I saw this year. That was amazing!
Personally, Chloe lifting the Dinnie Stones was the most impressive feat of strength from the entire year. All the rest were great as well but it was so amazing seeing her lift those stones and her sheer joy in the accomplishment. I am so glad I was there to see it firsthand. She has a fan for life!!

This is the one for me as well. The visual of someone Chloe's size lifting that much weight is absolutely insane, let alone after two failed attempts.
Pavlo's deadlift for reps, JF's squat, and Mitch's yoke were insane, but the women were so stand-out to me this year.

It’s so good for the sport when you have more people involved. The women killed it this year and it seems like it’s growing.

@@mattysmith83 yeah when I said his yoke I meant every yoke performance, including the yoke into log.
Trey Mitchell's final log at the Arnold was pretty unreal. He didn't but he fought with it overhead for like 10 seconds which shows insane willpower and strength. His stone to shoulder attempt, while not a complete lift, was almost equally impressive. That man has a crazy fight in him
JF CARON....that squat was awesome...and the Women's competition was great..
Still get chills every time I see @ChloeBrennanStrongwoman lift those Dinnie stones. Amazing.
Chloe’s dinnie stone lift was my absolute top moment of this year. What a joy it was to watch it live.

I'm surprised how well tom did at that
They are all inspirational, but for me it’s Oleksi with the massive Flintstone Lift and being the smallest guy in the finals winning the truck pull. Oleksi is my inspiration.
Nothing beats Chloe brennans dinnie stones, that was unreal

Yeah that was crazy and she didn't have to turn a tren shemale like some of the other women do
Another thing I love about this month - let the year recaps start flowing.
Really missed Oleksii Novikov's dumbell for reps at the arnold classic, such a dominent performance. A clear number 1 in my books. Also martins stone to shoulder.
@aperson6505

Maybe they missed it because it looked so easy that they forgot it was actually incredibly heavy
Seeing the Husafell Stone record being broken four times in one competition during the 2022 M. Ver M. classic in Iceland during the cold month of November was exciting.
Some incredible performances. 2022 has been ridiculous, and the exciting thing is - I reckon 2023 is going to be even better! Strongman is in rude health. Brilliant content, as always, Liz and Loz.

Yes when you put it all in 1 video, it really shows just how incredible 2022 was for strongman. I've loved it!
Mitch Hooper has put himself on the map this year. Hoping he can replicate in the world's finals too and he'd be right up there.
I think Chloe's dinnie lift is the most remarkable, if not the greatest lift of all time

her performance stands out but also dont forget jim splaine who lifted the original stones 67 times back in 70s at a body weight of 143 lbs
i want to see a Top 20 of Rauno's funniest moments !!!
Love this. A brilliant reminder of what a year 2022 has been. Roll on 2023!
One cannot simply name best in anything Strongman related without the name Oleksii Novikov.
I'd love a video about best whole competition performances. Tom's dominant WSM, Nadia Stowers and Andrew Clayton at OSG. Oleksii at the Rogue invitational, and so many more!!
Dunno what it is, but seeing the women competing, and breaking the records, is something very different, they seem so into it and the energy they have after doing it is amazing
@rampage3337

yeah it's very impressive what they have achieved. all we now need is for these strongwomen who have good genes to partner up with strongmen with the same gene. i honestly believe that in just a few hundred year/generations of doing that we could se a evolved super woman (by todays standard) and i think we could see a evolved super man to.
Nadia Stowers viper pressing @ the Team comp was awesome!
Great year for strength. I forget half of this happened, there’s just so much going on these days. I think Chloe’s stones west number one for me. That was insane watching that at her body weight
The women were mind blowing. And the weight classes. Loved them all, hugged them all and watched Oleksii lift them all. Great year. Thanks for making it so🖖
No real favourite moments, love them all. Thanks for including the female athletes as well. Credit where credit is in 😊
First thing i thought of was Chloe Brennan that was incredible, most really strong men couldnt lift them stones and she is amazing.
Fab video thanks so much.
Hooper is out of control! So good
My favourite performance has been Loz & Liz's ongoing great coverage of these events. They've changed Strongman and allowed us to get to know what it's like behind scenes of these events more than Eddie just thinking his farts are the funniest thing in the world.
Chloe definitely nr 1 for me in this list. For the lift itself but her celebration once she realised it was a good lift cemented her in that first place.
What an awsome video this is amazingly done. Great job Loz N Liz💪
Love the editing, especially the sandbag weights
I think Wide Pavlo's deadlift at Rogue deserves a top 5 spot!
JF was unmatched in the squat.
Great content guys!
It's been such an epic year, so many awesome performances.
Love this type videos!!!
How do you not have a million or more subs yet. The world is not right!
I agree. I think you got it.
Totally agree on #1. Watched it live and my jaw just dropped.
Chloe's stones was number one for me. Great list, enjoyed them all, but I've shown so many people her lift video even months after.
The crowd when Paul Smith almost got the last stone up at the strongman classic
Novikov💪 still so young..2023 is gonna be crazy
Brilliant clips, the womens performances were especially awesome. Your channel gives the best unbiased information to fans so much more than just seeing the sport on tv at Xmas, thanks for all your content over the year its been brilliant. 💪💕💪💕
Mitchs yoke into log was one of the best performances of all time.
Completely unbelievable!!
That was a fun video! 😊
It’s hard to whittle it down to just 20, but these were all great moments for sure. 2023 looks set to be even bigger still.
I think Oleksii doing the 125kg dumbell for 7 comfortable reps was the most impressive display of all time on that event! It's easy to overlook but half the guys couldn't even do one!
Great compilation!! I feel like most of these performances were equally impressive!

It was really hard to narrow it down to just 20 and then to try and out them in some sort of order. 2022 has been brilliant 🔥
I have so much respect for Oleksii. The fact that he's just dominating in so many competitions while his country is at war is really admirable. Wide Pavlo is also very exciting! Looking forward to see Mateusz back in the fold!
Honorable mention has to go to Vilius Jokuzys for his insane Husafel carry.
Tom cruising to his second WSM
Awesome video guys, great to see some of the highlights of the year and cool to see so many of the incredible womens lifts.
Mitch’s 500kg yoke takes it for me. Absolutely nuts.
I was at the worlds strongest nation the women got the big stage they deserved, glad uncle loz and aunty liz are continuing to show the powerful ladies of our sport off. Strength sports are a much better place when everyone can be involved
That comparitively 'small' woman lifting the stones was nuts. Amazing. Hoopers blistering speed with a half a tonne on his shoulders, gawd. That American female finishing 2nd to Mark Felix in the hercules hold, wow.
Chloe’s lift gives me chills every time I watch it
Two moments that are stuck in my mind from the u80s are the world records by multiple people on the max atlas stone at 174 kg (I think) and on the max axle overhead (don't remember where exactly it stands now). And the ones who did weren't even the only ones who could have broken those records, had they been at those respective comps. Just shows how deep the field in that class is and also how fast people are improving, the class still being fairly new in the grand scheme of things.
An awesome year of strongman! So many I could say are my favourite but has to be Mitch Yoke & Log at the Rogue
At number one: Brian beating Eddie in bowling and making Eddie submerge himself in a freezing lake.

Nah Brian headbutting Eddie in arm wrestling 🤣
Lovelace on those sand bags what absolutely mental. Quality
Oh what a year! 👋👋
Great video! Pavlos deadlift at the Rogue Invitational would've been a good addition.
When Chloe Brennan lifted the Dinnie stones; I watched it three times and cried twice
Chloe Brennan´s dinnie lift was mindblowing
Loz you missed one: Most impressive coverage of all things Strongman to you and the wifey! Thanks for all you do.
Luke Stoltman's Arnold log was hype as hell
Great year in strongman
❤ This was an awesome year for strongman and the fans. I don’t know how next year can top it? ❤❤❤
For me Luke stoltman's final lift on the austrian oak at the Arnold was my favourite moment or Trey Mitchell's. Hard to choose
My favorite was Chloe's Dinney stones. After watching the other women that were much bigger missing the lift, seeing Chloe hit it was astonishing! By the way, the PDC should get Loz to record a 180 call. His voice is starting to sound like Russ Bray's.
Hey guys when are you coming down under!? Love to bump into you two and say hi sometime while you are here!
Martin's stone to shoulder from the Arnold is my #1 easily
Wide Pavelo's Deadlift Performance at the Rogue Invitational/Classic or whatever it was called!!! Marine Mike
The Oleksii lift is beyond unreal
JF’s squat!! That was number one for me.
I really appreciate Loz and Liz covering Women's Strongman (Strongwomen?) Really helps with the exposure of the sport and not sure how many else are.
Jf squat take #1 for me
Also Martins' stone to shoulder
❤❤❤
Number 1+ - Chloes celebration after the dinnies 😀
Chloe stole the whole year with the dinnie stone lift
Honorable mention needs to go to Rob Kearneys squat at the Arnolds, coming back from injury and fighting cancer and putting those huge numbers up!
@BigLozOfficial

The honourable mentions list would be longer than this list! It was such a great year and so many things that could have gone in.
Do you include Makarov’s recent deadlift as part of the 2022 season? Don’t know when this was filmed though :-)
Great Video as Always. But the biggest deadlift was performerd by Ivan Makarov at the German Conpetition Eisenhart Last Weekend. He lifted 483kg. By the was Rauno competed there as well, ne pulled 452.5 Sumo.
01:58 This made me smile 🦾
You probably already had the video made, but Ivan Makarov beat Rauno for the heaviest deadlift in comp of 2022 by pulling 483kg at the Eisenhart Challenge (quite easily, too)
@BigLozOfficial
Жыл бұрын
Yeah we’ve had this done since last week!
#1 definitely spot on. I'd also put p a v l o's rogue deadlift for reps in there, but to be fair he's already got a deadlift for reps in the list so it's too similar to have it twice. I'd swap them, but then I guess the one in the list is a record. The rogue one was just mental
In my personal list, Chloe would have been 1st, 2nd AND 3rd! Lol What was that, 5 almost 6 times her bodyweight?!! Just insane!
Gabby was brilliant enough to be measured to the weight and then sink down to take a ton of weight off the hold. I saw martins do that as well. Very clever way to take degree angles off the pillars and therefore the weight.

@@tylerrichlen3286 Well if that's the case, that makes it even more of an achievement. Thanks for the info.
Would have liked Martins' viking press here aswell. Or his stone to shoulder at ASC. We all know Mateusz would amash it, but he's off season. All these mentions are great, Novikov getting so much work done, it's incredible. One that I really enjoyed watching was Chloe, and Gabi's Hercules hold, the smile on her face, sticking out her tongue, she did fantastic! Especially since it was the SAME WEIGHT as the men did! EDIT: Of course, JF's squat was something extra as well, that man could have done 1000+ lbs that night, but it was maybe better he didn't, poor guy...
