@@telosnyx5193 I had to retry once but i had to use 3 Staminan Royales cause even just my jabs and kicks were getting parried. At most I could do 2 or 3 jabs if he was getting up, a quickstep blow, or the rare parry if his attack wasn't too fast

"So Unusual" is such a good theme. It really represents Yuki as a character and the whole chapter 3. He is the most unusual character. He is a teacher that has a weird philosophy "Fists with love" (Punching his students but with good intentions and a sign of concern). But due to the modern educational system. He is forced to not hit his students. And he has to endure the physical abuse of Tatsuya and his friends. Due to his hatred for Tatsuya, he starts doing rampage on delinquents by beating them up brutally. The song is *Unusual* too. It's the most different one. The lyrics talk about Yuki as a whole. The encounter of Yuki is Unusual too. You have to fight a teacher who secretly was a jacked up person. His moveset is the most unusual one too. He is counter focused boss. Every hit you do to him. He will counter you. You have to take a different approach.

So glad they made a counter boss, it really helps reminding you not to unga bunga like a baboon all the type since you play as a panther instead

Counter boss? Lmao Reiji is a counter boss. Yuki is a pushover compared to him. You dont need to even grab or avoid his parries, all you need to do is basically strafe to his side and jab. Also the same tactic is his bane because Yuki is incredibly weak to counterattacks. That Mercenary guy on the other hand is a REAL challenge.

@@christiangleason122 just regular hard mode, probably just went in underleveled because his heat actions did 90% of my hp. i also could not parry or dodge his combos for anything lol. took me a solid 20 tries before i got it. honestly the random encounters in 2 are harder tho

Even his counters do lot of damage, and if you are crazy enough to attack him when he is in heat mode attack, that madlad will follow up with his special heat action.

@@Fishikiyamaa just try to keep countering him when he's gonna attack. He's the most easiest to counter and will kick you immediately if he gets up. Assuming you have already beat this guy. You can fight him again in ex hard.

Yuki is one of the best boss in the franchise. A fight about how the violent system lead to the way both characters acts and how is a cycle that they cannot escape yet, the only thing that they can get is a reason and Yuki finally get his victory when Tatsuya understand what is endure for him. The best part is the cool as fuck moveset from Yuki AND THIS FUCKING THEME

Agree and the fact that it took me ages to defeat him (because I didn't knew that you could upgrade your stats from that old man) kinda made the ending hits very hard and emotional for me, all that stuff that I had to go through just to defeat him is payed with a heartwarming story imo

Man, when this song played, the fight against that teacher-dude suddenly got so, so much better. I guess the lyrics are also somewhat fitting...?

For those who struggle with this fight, remember that you have your own counter, and his attacks are wide enough that he’s actually one of the easiest to counter. Especially when he knocks you down, he’ll immediately go for a kick when you get back up, that’s where you wanna turn the tables and counter him instead, he’ll fall over afterwards which is when you wanna hit him with a special while he’s in the middle of getting back up.

@@Sal_II14 On hard he is menace, same with Tenzan and Reiji. They all block most of your attacks and Tenzan AI can even parry heavy blows (charge) like drop kick or body punch.

@@Sal_II14 Little advice before you have to fight Tenzan, go do substories and make sure you level up most styles to the point you can unlock Extreme Awakening (it will give you insane damage boost when you are at critical health, which can obliterate Tenzan).

There is some funky tracks on Yakuza 1 and 2. This track sounds a bit like something RHCP would do. The second game for the PSP doesn't have a fantastic soundtrack compared to this game. I would love a translated version for both PSP games. I didn't really enjoy Kenzan as much due to lack of understanding of Nihongo.

Last month I think. I came across it through the Andriasang website, search for the yakuza content when you search on that site. One of the articles links you to the demo. Since it's been a while, check on the Japanese PSN store, the demo should still be on there.

Well, it's already about 8-9 years, with no real news that I've heard of on that happening. Though I wouldn't be surprised they end up creating remakes for the games (similar to the Kiwami titles) and bring those out to the west.

All RGG soundtracks have great tracks, but Kurohyou 2 soundtrack is not that great. The demo for this game had great tracks compared to the Kurohyou 2 demo.
