    Probably you don't spend much time if after 3 years even such simple phrase is with mistake ). It's a very good complementary tool - but for sure should be combined with another method of learning. It cannot be a single method of learning language.

    Out of a pickle? That's a good one😅. It's quite clear in context. I really liked your post. And your cat. I think is a good approach to basic and simple language interaction. I noticed your post is definitely for English speakers, yet you could make it easy to learning English for Spanish speakers. Furthermore, your examples could be used for learning any second language. I will try to apply it to someone languages I'm trying to learn 🎉 I think your small talk questions are a good starting point. A set of generating questions in Pablo"s didactics frame work (Paulo Freire) Additional comments teacher: Weather talk 😊 so British ... Qué calor, cuánta lluvia, qué buen clima! ¿ Cómo es el clima en ___(donde vives)? The restaurante special ? I have always thought something like your husband does, but you are all right too. If you ask me I would recommend at our place " sopa de tortilla" or "sopa azteca" because we've noticed customers love it. And we do too, we cook Mexican vegetarian food. The bucket list, made me remember a movie with that name, so is it lista de deseos? Or does it also mean , lista de deseos antes de irme ? I have visiting Salto Angel Fall in my bucket list, not only in my list; imagine, the oldest land formations on the planet, thousands of millions of years old! No me cabe en la cabeza! Try La Dimensión Desconocida, an amazing series by Robert Serling. Some chapters are hard to believe they were made 50 years ago. Thank you again and keep it up. Cheers from Venezuela

    My video request question (that you ask for at the end)... Nowhere is perfect and everywhere has its good and bad points, if you were to create a place with the things you like best about Spain and UK what bits would you choose from each? I have thought about this too much because I have also lived in both and there are things that I miss about each of them when I am in the other! I have my perfect mix ready just in case AI ever makes it possible to create it 😄

    Loving your videos Patry but here’s a quick one for you- I was in Lanzarote in August and one day asked our hotel receptionist “Que tal” and he seemed to get quite offended 🙈 Any idea why ??

  • @erichfreeman2756

    @erichfreeman2756

    Interesting. It seems it has to do with formal, informal communication. Some people may not like to be talked with so much familiarity. I would say Que tal to a front desk as a customer, I don't see why he/she be offended, but I wouldn't wait for an answer though, que tal? Puede decirme/Puedes recomendarme something? Would be the following question. What do you think Patry/ Ms. Ruiz/ Mrs. Ruiz? Formal/non formal talk can be a pickle in Spanish 😅
