That's actually a misconception pressure is gonna build regardless not any door or window is 100%sealed. Also, flying debris and the tornado itself will damage windows and hurt structures. With windows and doors shut this gives you somewhat of a shield from flying debris. Another misconception is to get under a bridge or overpass if you're driving the tornado can cause suction to occur in them like a wind tunnel and you can be sucked out. It's best to hit the ditch. Don't take my word for it though please do your own research it can save your life or the life/lives of someone or those you love 😊 Be safe out there the weather is only getting wilder!

Yes! You usually see the same videos over and over again, especially in compilations, but this had a bunch I've never seen, it was nice.

Someone attempting to hold a glass door shut upon seeing an approaching tornado is probably the dumbest thing I've seen today.

I love how a few of the people are whispering while watching the tornado come closer. Like if they stay quiet it wont hear them and just pass by.

I legit started laughing when I saw the thumbnail with the upside down flying person :D

12:49 This is why the biggest rule of tornados is stay away from glass windows and doors! It has a suction and blows in glass!

I thought at first, man this is all over the place! Then I sort of liked it! Different showing the tornadoes in other countries I had not seen. Toward the end, I think in Perrington Texas, where does the guy get the idea to keep the door open!??? Thst idea went out in the 70’s!!!

Still not many adults just “have the choice to go somewhere safer”. Sometimes tornados are unexpected, and others just can’t leave for some reason, be it lack of transportation or money or place to go, or any other reason. It’s not safe to stand by and record instead of going to a basement or something (if they are fortunate enough to have one) but you are still calling these victims, some of which lost their houses, even their lives, stupid

We had a twister 🌪️ in December on the 9 th and it wrecked mayhem on houses and businesses. Hell no, DO NOT leave the door open or windows cracked during a 🌪️! That’ll cause the building to explode for sure and you will be crushed by the debris.

Every year my friend. We're in what they call Dixie Alley. We've gotten them my whole life (64 yrs) but we get lots more lately. Climate change plus they say Tornado Alley is moving east. Anyway, good thing my farm has an underground storm cellar!

Lawd obviously skipped dishing out the mercy. Nature does what nature does and we can only take responsible steps based on reliable information to protect ourselves.

I totally agree with @johnjohnonboard5261 you want keep the wind out not let it in. Had they closed the door a lot of the damage that happened might not have occurred. Taking videos of tornadoes is fine and dandy when they are a mile away but not when they are right outside your door

Then you couldn't build anything anywhere. Literally. It's not like the same areas get hit over and over again. These are different places all across the world, 99% are experiencing a tornado for the first time. It's like a 1 in 6 million chance of getting hit by ANY kind of tornado, even more for one that's actually incredibly destructive. Why on earth wouldn't they build a house in a livable area? Your comment just tells everyone you don't know anything about tornados. Your area can get a tornado too, anywhere can. I guess you deserve to lose your house or life because you can't control nature?

You DO know tornadoes occur in all 50 states as well as all over the world....except maybe Antarctica but nobody really knows what goes on there.
